Zefferro, also called Rain, is a major antagonist of Mortal Kombat 1. He is Outworld's high mage, and has the ability to control water. He is infamous for betraying Outworld and for being complicit with Havik in flooding Seido. While he does feel immense regret over this, everyone is against him for these acts, and wants him dead, making him a villain by proxy.

Johnny Cage is one of the protagonists in Mortal Kombat 1. Known for his charisma, humor, and being a mega star. He is the supposed hero that Liu Kang recruits in helping out with Outworld.

A demon born in the NetherRealm, she eventually broke from sisterhood after seeing the beauty of the world, and is seeking redemption by purging evil. Her means of doing are with a magic sword called a kriss, a pure and divine weapon capable of purging darkness.

Billy Loomis/Stu, otherwise known as Ghostface, is the primary antagonist of the iconic horror movie franchise, scream, and as a guest fighter in Mortal Kombat 1. Known for his iconic mask and costume, as well as his Buck 120, his knife of choice, he is a psychotic, sadistic serial killer that kills purely for the love of the game. He calls his victims with a voice changer and mentally breaks them before going in for the kill. While there are multiple people under the mask for Ghostface. Billy and Stu are the most iconic in the series.

Ashy Slashy, El Jefe, The King, etc. Beneath his charismatic demeanor, and sense of humor, there lies a broken man who has lost friends and has to constantly keep fighting evil, despite knowing that evil never truly dies.
