Charlie the Human
Project Overview
"Charlie the Human" is a 2-D drawn animated short parodying the Charlie the Tuna commercials marketing Starkist.
The short is a black comedy featuring Charlie, a hipster with a beret and sunglasses trying to show that he has good taste to "Starship", a group of aliens that fishes out humans so they can sell them as food.
The short will be approximately 1-2 minutes long and will have cartoony animation, similar to my past animated short here. It will be animated similar to the 1960s Charlie the Tuna commercials (example here). I'm looking for voice actors who can perform voices similar enough to the original ads. I'm looking to complete the film by the end of the year.
This is an indie short that I'm doing most of the work myself, so pay will be modest.

A stubborn person based on Charlie the Tuna. He wants to prove to StarShip that he has good taste, even though they're only seeking humans that TASTE good.
He has a snobbish, hipster/beatnik voice, similar to the tuna character he's lampooning. See commercials linked above to get a sense of what he sounds like.
It's called a beret, and to answer your question it's to show that I have good taste.
Yeah! I want to show Star Ship that I have what it takes to be picked by them. After all, they only want humans with good taste.

Charlie's cigar-smoking friend who tries to convince Charlie that Starship only wants humans that taste good, not humans with good taste.
He is based on a cigar smoking fish in this ad. Here's another example with the sidekick.

A narrator/announcer in the ads.
An "announcer" type voice is preferred, especially when announcing the product, similar to Gary Owens, like the game show host in this Fruity Pebbles ad. Also check out old Starkist ads I linked in this page to hear the narrator voice.
