Introduction
Hello! I am an aspiring voice actor/impressionist who goes by MetalLee_VA! I am currently interested in gathering a cast of other voice actors/impressionists who may help me with video skits, which will all be edited by me (or whoever wishes to help). These skits will just be about random things, and we'll stray away from more inappropriate things such as NSFW. They will be posted on my TikTok account, which I will put here:
MetalLee_VA (@metallee33) | TikTok
I encourage those interested to browse through my TikTok just to get a sense of the type of content I'm talking about. Also, just to note I will be voicing Denji in these skits. That is why I have not listed him among the characters available for auditioning.
In the future, we may even branch off into other anime. Though, that will be much later down the line (if this is even successful in casting).
A discord will be set up later on as the project page gets up and running.
If you wish to contact me, you may do so on my TikTok, Discord, or here. My discord is metallee3808.
Requirements
All auditions should be recorded in AABBCC format. I request that you at least have decent audio quality.
This project will be restricted to 18+ applicants only. I do not feel comfortable working with minors.
All auditions must have this format:
Name/Alias:
Age:
Reason for Auditioning:
Availability/Willingness to Retake:
Contact Information (Discord/TikTok/CCC):
Be willing to send retakes/resubmissions for certain auditions if asked to.
BE RESPECTFUL!
More requirements may be added later.
Closing Statement
Hopefully all of you have a fun time auditioning, and for whoever gets casted in the end... I can't wait to work with you all!
Just to get it out there, this is IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE OFFICIAL "CHAINSAW MAN" ANIME. I do not have rights to any of these characters, and these skits are made for entertainment purposes only. I have no intention to monetize this.
I've casted 5/9 characters for the project, including:
Aki
Power
Makima
Beam
Himeno
THANK YOU ALL FOR AUDITIONING! It seriously means the world to me that people took the time out of their day to come check out my little
project. As of right now, the roles still up for grabs are:
Kishibe
Angel Devil
Kobeni
Reze
Casting is not over yet! If you want to make improvements to auditions for those characters, OR submit a few, then go ahead and do it now!
Until next time!
I have gone through most of the auditions and left some feedback for you all! I seriously appreciate all of the attention and support you have given me, and I do believe I'm at a point where I can start considering some casting decisions for certain characters (based on some submissions I've seen). The ones I'm particularly eyeing are:
Aki
Kobeni
Himeno
Beam
If you want to resubmit some auditions, please do so soon! And if you are, please delete your previous auditions after making a new one.
Thank you and until next time! Good luck everyone!
Hello everyone! I'm so very grateful for all of the auditions being sent in! I never thought this project would be getting anywhere to be honest, but it's going swimmingly.
As of right now, I'm still waiting for some more auditions before I start considering castings and whatnot (specifically for characters with little traffic like Makima, Kobeni, Himeno, Reze, and Angel). I'd appreciate it if you all could spread the word or maybe try out for other characters if you haven't. I'll be sure to add some feedback to the auditions I have not gotten to yet, so watch out for that!
Voice Actor
One of the main three! He'll be featured in a lot of the skits we do, so I'd like to find a VA who is as close to the official English dub as possible. HOWEVER, you may also give original takes on the character as well.
Reference:
AKI SCENES | Chainsaw Man (DUB)
"Just that my kindness seems a bit wasted on you."
"I'm sick and tired of people dying on me... right before my eyes..." [He's crying here, so be emotional.]
"Kon."
Voice Actor
ANOTHER one of the main three! For this role, being as close to the official English dub is something I would strictly advise. I need someone to really bring that chaotic energy to the table!
Reference:
POWER SCENES | Chainsaw Man (DUB)
"Alright, on your knees mortal scum, including so-called partners! YOU STAND IN THE PRESENCE OF POWER!"
"Human! Supply prey for me post-haste! I yearn for the savor of blood."
"My liege."
Voice Actor
Yikes... it's HER, the big bad lady. I would prefer an impression of the official English dub for this one, but original takes for this role are accepted!

All MAKIMA Scenes | Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc [4K DUB]
"Thing is... I believe that a single good movie can change your entire life."
"I'm quite fond of the country mouse too."
"I'm not sure why... but when I watch that I feel... a sort of strange comfort."
Voice Actor
Uncle..."Gruncle"... whatever you want to call him; he's an old fart. The voice should be similar to the official English dub!

"How'd you feel about your comrades dying?"
"Know what you just got? Perfect scores."
"Just you wait, by the time I'm finished with you two you'll be a pair of serious badasses."
Voice Actor
He's an angel... or wait, is he a devil? This voice is a bit tricky, so I don't need it to be EXACTLY like the official English dub, but the closer the better!

All ANGEL DEVIL Scenes | Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc [4K DUB]
"All this ice cream's got me tired. I never realized eating could take so much energy out of you."
"My heart belongs far from here. I don't wanna follow a city mouse like you and put myself in danger."
"Why did you touch my hand?! Do you wanna die?!"
Voice Actor
The man, the myth, the legend (and shark)! I would like this to be as close to the official English dub as you can possibly get. He should be loud and energetic, people!
Reference:
All BEAM (Shark Fiend) Scenes | Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc [4k DUB]
"Lord Chainsaw! What a glorious honor!"
"You're the best! The greatest! A righteous badass!"
"That smell... I know it! SHE'S THE BOMB DEVIL! [He's frantic here, running away with Denji as Reze chases after them. Be sure to add a bit of PIZZAZ here, you feel?]
Voice Actor
She's... certainly someone, just not very noticeable. You don't need to be super close to the official English dub, but do bring the same frantic and chaotic energy!
Reference:
KOBENI SCENES | Chainsaw Man (DUB)
"Since they can't get in and we can't get out, everybody here is gonna die. We'll slowly starve to death..." [She's quiet, shaky, and very scared here.]
"I wanted to go to college but I'm just going to my grave!" [Again, VERY shaky and scared. Also, a bit loud here.]
"Her ability is keeping us on the eight floor, right?! THAT JUST HAS TO BE WHY!" [VERY loud and scared, like SCREAMING.]
Voice Actor
Your local alcoholic... and spiritual medium, I guess? This should also be close to the official English dub, but original takes for her are always welcome!

Indirect Kiss | DUB | Chainsaw Man
Himeno's Sacrifice | DUB | Chainsaw Man
"I have a hunch this is going to be a long partnership, so it'd be awesome if you smoked." [She says this in sort of a bratty tone.]
"I'm sorry... this is the last one I've got."
"Having someone care for you enough to cry like that... must be nice." [She's very somber here, so be somber!]
Voice Actor
She's just a normal high school girl... if you consider being a living bomb normal. For this one, I would like it to be very close to the official English dub.

Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc - Denji meets Reze (English dub)
"Thanks for the flower."
"Bossman, over here! A couple of coffees if you don't mind!"
"Denji... I wonder why I didn't kill you the first time we met." [She's literally dying here... and is also very somber. Make sure to reflect that!]
