Hello All!
Here is the basic point of the comic:
Adriene, a nerdy junior high school girl, is stuck in a situation where she tries to be strong and stand up for herself but her efforts get thrown back in her face. A certain incident is keeping her wrapped around her bully Selina's finger. Sure, her friend Collin tries his best to take up for her and lift her spirits, but that doesn't change the fact that she is still being blackmailed. You might ask: "Why doesn't she tell a teacher? Or the principal? Heck, why won't she tell her parents?" Adriene doesn't want to look like a big baby and have others handle her problems for her. She wants to do this without the help of an adult. But what can she do?
This will be the second casting call I've created here on Casting Call Club. This time, it's a comic dub of a mini-comic I created a few months back. It's not a fan project nor is it based on a popular tv show or comic. This simply a small idea I decided to put on paper and share with the world! And I thought to myself: "Why not give these characters a voice?" I've already done it with one of my mini-comics as you can see from the video above the description. So, I want to give this one a try but include other voice actors besides myself this time.

I do have a preference for XLR microphones. However, I do understand that there are plenty of people who are just starting their voice acting journey, so USB microphones are okay as long as there is little to no background or static noises.

Adriene has a desire to be strong enough to take care of her own problems. However, her lack of confidence makes her believe that being such a strong-willed person is just a hopeful wish. She doesn't mind speaking her mind, but her words seem to have little to no effect against people like Selina. This gets a bit frustrating for the nerdy junior high girl.
I'm looking for a female voice that's at a medium range. Remember, she's in junior high, aged 14-15.
You can use the comic as a reference for her emotions in the panels she's in.
(Sounds angry but is obviously a bit scared; sheds a small tear)
I said NO! I'm not your servant. I've already been acting like it for this long and I'm tired of it!
(A bit relieved; talking to her friend, Collin)
Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks. You don't have to stay, you know.
(Joking with Collin)
You really are a protective one. I'm sure Rachel would love that.
Collin is Adriene's best friend! He's the best at being the best friend. He's sticks up for her, covers for her, and encourages her. Collin wants to be the white knight in shining armor not only for Adriene, but for his crush Rachel. But in the inside, he's a bit scared of confrontation and his inner ghost pops out to express his inner thoughts.
I'm looking for a voice that's similar to Ruji's english voice from Persona 5 but a bit laid back. Like medium to medium high range. He does have his dramatic moments in the comic so BRING ON THE EMOTIONAL RANGE!
(Selina just called Collin Colonoscopy. He responds in a calm yet determined manner)
The name's Collin, ya wentch.
(Adriene teases him about trying to impress his crush, Rachel. He's being a bit dramatic in this scene and is seen sheding tears. Refer to page 5 of the comic)
Oh c'mon, Adriene! We both know that strength is one of the most important traits in a man that girls look for. If I look like a wimp, I'll get overlooked!
(Sound heroic)
Nonsense! Every princess needs a white knight to defend her at all times!
Just think of the typical rich mean girl with a smart mouth and sense of superiority.
Shoot for a medium to a medium-high range. When your yelling in anger, drop the rich mean girl act and turn into a monster.
(Frustrated)
This better be worth it. I don't want to take a chance of critters making a home in my hair for nothing.
(Evil)
Listen, I'm a very busy young lady, and all this workload these dumb teachers are giving me are cluttering up my schedule. Would you be a dear and take that weight off my shoulders? I would greatly appreciate it if you did.
(Annoyed)
*Pfft* All I got was a scream and a dumb look.
(Angry and yelling)

Kelly and Riley are twins and minions for Queen Selina.
Riley has a medium range for her voice.
Kelly has a medium-high range.
(Kelly)
We told you. She's a total baby.
(Riley)
Oh, don't pay him any mind, Selina. He's nothing. Let's just go and-
(Selina cuts her off)
Um...Selina? My name is not-
(Kelly frustrated)
How are we gonna get her with him in the way?
(Riley shocked)

Ms. Dupable is the teacher Selina uses to get Collin in trouble. She's easy to fool. And is still a little bitter about her ex.
