Another Side - Sporting Hopefuls (Danganronpa Audio Drama)
Project Overview
Hello everyone! Momo here! One of my close friends on Reddit is currently writing a fanfiction based off Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. The fanfiction is a rewrite of the game with brand new character deaths, survivors, and a whole new storyline. Because of that, I decided to turn it into an audio drama, with his consent. I have all the scripts written for every chapter currently written, all I need are some voices. I am looking to recruit voice actors to record for each character.
WARNING: THIS AUDIO DRAMA WILL CONTAIN DR1 SPOILERS! AUDITION AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Before auditioning, please read these guidelines!
1. I will not be accepting auditions using a laptop, cell phone, gooseneck, headset, logitech, vanker, or tonor USB microphone. Only good quality microphones will be accepted. In other words, most USB microphones and all XLR microphones will be accepted. In your audition description, please specify what mic you use for the project.
2. You are free to audition for as many characters as you want, but you will only be able to get cast as one. This rule was made to avoid multicasting, as I want all of the characters to have different voice actors.
3. A Discord account is required to audition. When you audition, I will send you a link to the server so you can chill and hang out with the auditioners. However, feel free to join if you get cast!
4. Availability is a must. While I do not expect you to be available 24/7, I also don't want to see you offline on Discord for three weeks. If you feel like you won't be frequently available, do not audition for this project.
5. You do not have to play Danganronpa in order to audition for this project. The reason why I always have this rule is because I prefer your talent > your knowledge of the game. If I like your audition, I will cast you no matter how familiar you are with the game.
6. If I am considering casting you as a character, I will send you a private message letting you know that you have been cast and I will ask you for your Discord ID. Make sure you reply to the private message. The maximum time for me to wait for a reply is three weeks. If I do not hear back from you after the third week, I am opening up the role for recasting.
7. Be serious about your audition. Any and all auditions made for trolling/joking purposes will be rejected. Only audition for this project if you seriously plan to be a part of it.

Everyone just stood there. They didn’t do anything, really. They just stood and stared at each other. Almost as if contemplating something.
Slowly, Makoto became aware of other sensations than darkness and pain; even more pain, for one, but the pain caused by gradual recognition of his senses. Touch - ow. Hearing - ow. Sight... actually, sight wasn't causing pain.
His voice sounded normal. That made this, if anything, more surreal. The room was obviously a classroom of some kind, if a bit more posh than anything Makoto had ever been in before in an institution of learning.

Makoto Naegi is an average high school boy. He is known as the Ultimate Lucky Student, as he was scouted to Hope's Peak Academy through a lottery draw. In the audio drama, he becomes friends with Leon Kuwata, who supports him throughout the story.
Before we go any farther, I guess I should introduce myself. My name's Makoto Naegi. As you can see, I'm nothing but a hopelessly average high school student. Average on the outside, average on the inside.

I'm still totally lost, but I think it's best to just focus on getting to know each other for now. So I guess this is as good a chance as I'm gonna get.

Leon is known as the Ultimate Baseball Star. He is passionate and hot-blooded. During his school years, he would slack off studying and never went to baseball practice, due to him being naturally good at baseball. However, he doesn't really like baseball, as he would rather be the Ultimate Musician instead. In the audio drama, he becomes friends with Makoto Naegi.
