A New EvAbridged! (pilot)
Project Overview
Hey there! Just to start this off, I'm Mark/Krimes! In the midst of quarantine I discovered CCC and have been enjoying my time here meeting people and working on a few projects, now having been apart of a few I'm 100% dedicated and interested in creating one myself! So here comes the spark, a couple days ago I found myself re-watching Evangelion via Netflix. I love the show and virtually everything about it is perfect, I found myself going down this odd rabbit hole of abridgements on youtube at the same time. Now my curiosity spiked and I searched for Eva to find only two, I can only say that's some bullocks and I'm ready to make it at least three!
As of right now this project is essentially a one shot, however if reception to this pilot is good, there is a huge possibility of a continuation which I would love to lead up and complete from the season to End of Evangelion but none of this is certain, so only a hand full of parts will be casted here, basically only the ones in episode one. I feel if the project failed to meet a substantial following it would be unfair to voice actors who would play characters later on for them to not be able to do their part (truly sorry to all those hoping they could audition for Asuka). A script is officially complete! It clocks in about 32 pages (yes you read that correct!) However the entire project has a lighting fast energy to it so if I'm correct the 32 pages should translate to about 19 or 22 minutes.
All I ask for in terms of auditioning is a decent to good sound microphone with little to no sound in the background. Make sure to act, vocal inflections are 100% wanted! No need to slate! This is going for comedy with some heartfelt/deeper moments here and there so make sure you can give a full variety.

Due to the nature of dialogue and subject matter I recommend only people who are 17+ audition!

Shinji is a notorious bitch, he runs away all the time and is prone to crying, here however he's getting a more reasonable edge. He always has the best in mind for others and he genuinely wants to better himself but the world and others will always beat down on him no matter what.

Technically we're both supposed to go to the sessions but it's always just me. Oh, it's fine. he said the first step to growing is learning how to forgive. So I wanna try that and see how it goes. In all actuality, I'm looking forward to seeing him.
