[Production Team] Hexforce: Gacha Series

Project Overview

PLOT SUMMARY

Six teenagers are navigating their normal life with all the school drama: friends, bullies, classes, teachers, parents, etc. One day, they received superpowers after that one incident, and with the help of a mentor, they suddenly become superheroes of Eastwood: Hexforce.

CREW GUIDELINES

  • Production roles are ideally recommended for ages 16+. This is because some production responsibilities can be more demanding and time-consuming than others. Younger applicants may still be considered depending on the role and their experience.

  • This is a volunteer, unpaid production project. Please only audition if you are comfortable contributing without financial compensation.

  • You are welcome to audition for multiple production roles if you have the skills and availability for them. However, please be realistic about your workload and avoid taking on more responsibilities than you can comfortably manage.

  • Each production role has its own responsibilities and audition requirements. Please read the description of the specific role you are auditioning for carefully before submitting.

  • Additional production guidelines, workflows, technical standards, and project information will be provided after you are accepted into the production team.

  • The production team will work collaboratively. You should be comfortable receiving feedback, making revisions, and communicating with the Director when necessary.

  • Final creative and production decisions will be handled by the Director/Showrunner. Crew members are encouraged to contribute ideas and suggestions, but submitted work may require revisions to maintain consistency across the series.

  • The main roles handled by the Director/Showrunner include Director, Agent, Producer, Writer, Sound Designer, Audio Engineer, and Music Producer. Other crew members will primarily focus on their assigned production roles.

  • Please communicate if you become unavailable, need more time, or are having difficulty completing an assignment. You will not be expected to sacrifice your school, work, personal life, or well-being for this project.

  • If you are also interested in voice acting, please go here: https://www.castingcall.club/projects/draft-hexforce-gacha-series-copy

Latest Updates

  • Looking for prioritized roles right now! It's very urgent!

I've received some interest and submissions already, which I really appreciate! However, there are certain roles that we urgently need more than others right now.

    HUGE PRIORITY

    ARTISTS

    We're especially looking for:

    • Character / asset artists for Gacha Life 2

    • Background artists

    • Prop / environment artists

    • Other 2D artists who can work with the Hexforce visual direction

    LIVE2D ANIMATORS / RIGGERS

    This is another major priority.

If you have experience with Live2D Cubism, rigging, deformers, physics, facial expressions, or animating Live2D models, we'd REALLY appreciate your help.

    ANIMATIC STORYBOARDERS

We're unable to start the project if there are no storyboarders around.

    LOWER PRIORITY RIGHT NOW

    • Screenwriting (mainly cuz the 1st episode is already fully written)

    • Music / composition

    • Sound design

Please don't be afraid to apply!

You don't need to be a professional with years of industry experience. What matters is that you have enough skill to contribute, can communicate with the team, and can realistically manage the workload alongside school, work, and your personal life.

And because Hexforce is a volunteer project, you are NOT expected to work like a full-time employee. We want the workflow to be sustainable.

If you're interested in one of the priority roles above, please consider submitting an application! 🙏

And if you know someone who would be interested in art or Live2D animation, feel free to share the project with them!
