Wholesome 1-Minute Challenge: Baby Voices!

Hello, everyone! I thought I might try something a little different compared to what I usually make.

Did you know that there are SO many voice actors that can do baby noises? You'll often hear something like this in cartoons. Unfortunately, there hardly seems to be ANY projects that include any role that requires that sort of condition... Until now!

Inspired by other challenges, this Wholesome Challenge is designed for fun and to put smiles on people's faces. It's where you get to make cute and adorable baby sounds for at least 1 minute! Here's what will happen here.

When auditioning, please go for mostly happy, natural baby noises, like babbling, cooing, giggling, etc.

If you're going for sad baby noises like crying, please keep it to 15 seconds or under. Short bursts of uncomfortable whining can be added in if you'd like, but I'd like the tone and mood of the baby to be genuinely happy.

A few instances of sadness can be added in either way, but most of the baby noises should make him sound content and happy. I think it would be even more adorable if you make noises where the baby cheers up after it cries!

If you'd like to, you can add in the baby sleeping or making other cute noises, like being fed. You can record for more than one minute if you've got more baby noises you'd like to do!

Use a decent-quality mic. Recording through Audacity really helps get the audio quality out better!

Use more happy baby noises than sad baby noises, although I will make a couple of exceptions for the maximum of 15 seconds or maybe more if you'd like to record for more than a minute.

Make the baby noises varied. If you can, go for coos, babbles, and giggles altogether rather than just one thing for the whole minute.

And all in all, just have fun!

Remember, I'll instantly cast you as soon as I hear your audition that fits the criteria, not when the deadline ends. I'll instantly have your recording ready for the finalized project, which will be uploaded to YouTube! Think of it as a mega demo reel I've made for you all. This will help people who are looking for someone to voice act a baby character, and you can even add in what you've recorded into your own demo reels!

Also, if you'd like, please add in descriptions of the baby noises, so I can tell if it's being fed, walking, etc so I can add in things like footsteps or baby bottle sound effects, or you can add in the sound effects yourself if you'd like!
