Scriptwriter

What do you do? 📝

Write scenes, dialogue, and scripts that bring the story to life. Scriptwriters work closely with the Showrunner to develop engaging episodes while maintaining consistency with the series' characters, world, and overall narrative.

Responsibilities:

• Write scenes and dialogue based on the project's story direction.

• Develop natural conversations and believable character interactions.

• Follow the established personalities, lore, and continuity of the series.

• Revise scripts based on feedback from the Director.

• Collaborate with Storyboard Artists when clarification is needed.

Requirements & Guidelines:

• Strong storytelling and dialogue writing skills.

• Good understanding of pacing, scene structure, and character development.

• Ability to write clear scripts that are easy for Storyboard Artists, Voice Actors, and the production team to follow.

• Respect the established lore and continuity of the series.

• Be open to revisions and constructive feedback.

• Previous scriptwriting experience is preferred but not required.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The standard format should be screenplay writing, not like a story novel. It's okay for minor format mistakes but this is usually the standard (you can look on website some writing screenplay examples)

Instructions:

1. Write an original script for a short scene.

2. Your script should include:

   • Scene heading (EXT./INT. LOCATION - TIME)

   • Character names

   • Dialogue

   • Character actions

   • Optional camera or emotional notes where appropriate

3. The story may be of any genre or setting.
