Winterville Death Game - Voice actors
Project Overview
Winterville Death Game is 10% audio with 90% visuals. The 10% audio format will include free time events and extra things that may not be included in the main story. Azalea Hanabera, upon getting accepted into Winterville Academy, thought it was going to be like any other academy, but she was sorely mistaken. She and 17 others fell through the floor of the academy, only to be thrown into a killing game. Winterville Death Game is a non-profit video series that was inspired by the mainline Danganronpa, as well as a few fangans such as Danganronpa Another and Super Danganronpa Another 2.

Regarding Winterville, this fan series is going to be a huge project, and we do have a few regulations that you, as an auditioning member, must follow:

The protagonist/ main pov of the story
Azalea is a quiet young lady who tends to observe the world around her. When it comes to it, she's not afraid to help others when they struggle with things such as academics and problem-solving. As a journalist, she loves to write articles that have been pushed aside because of some bigger story. At first glance, Azalea can come off as too trusting of others, which may get her into trouble sometimes. She tries to be closed off, but she can’t stop herself from making new friends along the way. Azalea’s home life isn’t well remembered. A detective raised Azalea in her past; file records do not list her name. She ended up getting a cheap apartment above some pizzeria; she had a roommate. Though in her opinion, her roommate was “too annoying and obnoxious,” and Azalea ended up isolating herself in her room or just staying somewhere like a library to focus on her studies or find leads to cases she was working on.

She’s won so many competitions, with gold medals filling her apartment, she is hardworking and dedicated and she’ll push past her limits. She once twisted her ankle and still showed up to practice. She’s opinionated, passionate about sports and training, and has a strong personality. But underneath it, Ava cares deeply for others and puts them first. She’s especially protective of her younger sister, Hannah, and won’t hesitate to stand up to anyone who threatens her.

The Ultimate Councilman. Cold, judgmental, and convinced he’s better than everyone else — and honestly, his talent backs it up. Ray advocates for individuals the government ignores. He believes in doing what’s right for the city, not for personal gain. A gifted public speaker, his words hit like a siren song to officials and can change minds in a room. He carries himself with entitlement, like you should be grateful he’s fighting for you. When it comes to injustice, he doesn’t back down. He comes in with proof and he comes in to fight and reason with the council to reach rightful laws and keep the peace.

Rosa is shy and soft-spoken. She’s kind-hearted, friendly, and always the first to help whenever someone needs it. She’s incredibly hardworking and a perfectionist. Rosa takes pride in her work and needs things to be clean and organized, it’s how she feels calm and in control. But behind the smiles, Rosa struggles. She’s gullible and too trusting, which gets her into trouble sometimes. She also has a hard time expressing her feelings and tends to keep her emotions to herself, even when she’s hurting.

Deeply caring and sensitive, he notices when others are upset and always tries to help. He gets attached easily and is fiercely loyal to his friends. Intense situations make him nervous, but his heart is always in the right place. Physically strong, emotionally soft, he just wants everyone around him to feel safe and get along. He is gentle, loyal, and protective.

Laid-back and shortcut-loving, his employers hated it — but they couldn’t argue with the fame and satisfaction his pastries brought in.
He eventually left to open his own, “Hoshimoto Bakery.” He doesn’t care about being popular. He just wants to make good quality pastries and good experiences. If his hard work helps people, that’s enough. Rin leads with emotion, not logic. He’s not shy about speaking up, even if he doesn’t have the “smartest” thing to say. What he lacks in overthinking, he makes up for in honesty and warmth.

He notices the tiny stuff: a twitch, a breath, the way someone's hands shake when they lie. Sometimes he stares too long without meaning to. He doesn't know the rules yet. He's searching for a specific kind of beauty. Not "pretty." Not fake. Something real that stands out without trying. He's been looking for it his whole life and hasn't found it. Now he's out in the world, trying to adapt. Every conversation feels like a test. Every room feels loud. But underneath the awkwardness, he's gentle. He just wants to understand people without scaring them.

She usually keeps to herself, but she's not as quiet as she looks. Alice is playful and loves messing with people just for fun. Her sarcasm gets a lot harsher when she's upset—especially if someone says something stupid or inappropriate. Even with the attitude, she carries herself with an elegant, graceful air, like she's always in control, even while she's roasting you.

But Haru isn’t cruel. He’s the oldest, and he carries the weight of it. -> "I have to look out for my family. If I can’t do that, I’m a disappointment, not to myself, but to my siblings. I just want them to have a life better than what a measly gambler can provide." He pushes people away because he’s trying to protect them. And himself.

He comes from a country famous for its art festivals and celebrations, and earned his title through young artist awards and volunteering to paint murals across the city. He’s most known for teaching kids about the city’s history through art. Jay met his idol, famous painter Jacque Bellbottom, who told him: "Whatever you put your mind to, you can fulfill a better purpose than seeking others' validation." That line has guided him for all 19 years of his life. He is passionate, free-spirited, and deeply creative.

Sweet, outgoing, and way younger than the rest of the Ultimates. She got into Winterville on a scout’s recommendation. Hannah cares deeply about nature and has a passion for making flower bouquets. She’s kindhearted and means well, but she’s a bit naive. She grew up sheltered and doesn’t fully understand how dangerous the world can be. She lives with her older sister, Ava. Their parents passed away when Hannah was around 5, so Ava stepped up and raised her. Hannah looks up to Ava for her confidence and competitive drive. Ava did everything to make sure Hannah could chase her dreams and have a brighter future.

Evan doubts his own talent and calls it “Dumb Luck.” He doesn’t think he has anything special to offer, so he makes up for it by being kind and considerate to everyone around him. He’s honest about his thoughts and has a strong work ethic shaped by his past. He looks out for others even if it means going without food for a day or two. But he hates accepting help. He doesn’t want pity or to feel like a burden to anyone. Overall, he's a well-mannered boy who puts others first, even if it costs him food, comfort, or clothing.

When Zoey does talk, she's blunt. She'll correct you, point out the details everyone missed, and say exactly what she's thinking. She prefers calm, quiet spaces and tends to avoid loud people. She spends most of her time reading, and she always carries a book with her for comfort.

Makoto is Sweet and soft-spoken. An open book who loves talking about their interests and just wants to have fun.
He’s reactive, especially when gaming, and comes off as someone who is quite silly. Friendly and approachable, but don’t mistake kindness for weakness. Underneath it, Makoto struggles to prove his worth, especially to their family and to Haru. Sometimes that comes out in subtle, logical ways that can seem manipulative. Living in Haru's shadow just like their brother Makoto’s talent is seen as "underachieving" despite this Makoto has a high intelligence for someone who plays off everything or acts like an idoit. They are a caretaker to their two younger sisters and is quite envious of Haru

She is energetic, impulsive, and determined.

She’s the type of person who acts tough and reckless, yet she chose this career to prove something not just to herself, but to others who may wish to follow their dreams too. But that fire burns. When her anger takes over, she acts first and thinks later. It’s gotten her into a lot of incidents, in and out of the ring.
