Wildwood Down (Videogame FULL GAME)

Project Overview

Wildwood Down is a video game being developed by Crashable Studios. We are an indie studio made up of 2 brothers.

We have come to Casting Call Club to give you all a chance to be a part of our work. We are casting now for the full game! Not just the demo.

About the Game:

---In "Wildwood Down," a quirky high school senior with Down syndrome embarks on a darkly humorous point-and-click adventure along the boardwalk of Wildwood, New Jersey. With his sister's life on the line, he must unravel a murder mystery, navigating eccentric characters, unexpected twists, and his own unique perspective to crack the case before time runs out. Can this unlikely hero outsmart the danger lurking beneath the cheerful fa-cade of America's favorite seaside destination?---

The main character Daniel is inspired by and being voice acted by our childhood friend and basically brother Daniel himself. He has down-syndrome and loves videogames. He's a ham when he's the center of attention and loves acting out movies and game scenes. So anyway he's just a super special person to us and deserves a game about him and he's thrilled to be doing his own voice acting. This will be an incredible project and thanks to anyone and everyone willing to get involved!

Our game is a 3d/2d pixel art hybrid and so the voice acting is incredibly important for bringing the characters to life.

Moltar is a master mind villain planning to take over wildwood NJ. If you know the "Zoltar" the fortune telling machines that's basically him. He works inside one of those machines acting as an animatronic fortune teller, but when no one is around he's actually a real person and he's always plotting to become rich. He uses a lot of animal types for his insults and banter perhaps because he was raised by a poor shepherd in India before his dad immigrated to America landing him in Wildwood. 


Some of his lines will be as the animatronic fortune teller (slightly robotic) and others will be normal. He has an Indian accent. Maybe middle eastern?


Age 40-60?

Personality - Shady, Plotting, Switches quick between evil grinning kind of dialogue to frustrated and flustered.

He is a main character and has around 200 lines.

Carney simply put is if you combined a carnival worker with a little bit of Michael Jackson. He works at the mini game stands on the boardwalk of Wildwood. He's kind of sly and can't be trusted. His games are always rigged. Later in the game he's caught stealing something important so he's also a thief.


Maybe raspy, high pitched, kind of wild and bombastic?

Crab King is a former underground wrestling champ. When he lost a big championship match he went into hiding and the crabs under the boardwalk kept him alive. Now he's kind of a nutcase and lives among the crabs. He's sort of like a "rat king" character except with crabs. When you find him in the game he's very skiddish and fragile from not interacting with humans for so long. His voice would be husky as he is a bigger man and was a wrestler. He has that feel of (Is he speaking to me or himself?) Alot of time.

The "Jah" is pronounced not as Yah but more like a J or G.
