I am a student making a 2-minute student thesis film called West Wind Lily and I am looking for volunteers!
Synopsis: It's an action film where four criminals are on the run from the best detective in town, only for the detective to make a startling discovery. The era takes place in a general 1960s or 1970s timeline with a bit of western culture mixed in. Despite this, there are characters ranging from different ethnicities. For most of the animation it will be entirely a car chase before a fun reveal by the end.

A tired and bored detective who really just needs a cup of coffee to get through the hectic days. Despite his reluctantly to get out of bed in the morning, he's an extremely diligent and persistent worker, rewarding him the "best detective in town" title. Detective Hugh continues his daily life of solving crimes, hoping someday something exciting in his life will start soon. He has a British accent.

Yes yes, I hear you.
A succulent, plant-like, creature that is part of the wrong gang. She's an innocent but kind soul, only doing her best to fit in with her human friends. Along with her strange appearance, she is a force to be reckoned with when startled. Gumdrop, the nick-name her comrades gave her, is selectively mute. She doesn't exactly have the tongue for the human language just yet so she mostly communications with ASL and through chirps, squeaks, and other onomatopoeia's.

Liam is an extremely intelligent and observant individual who does his job in the office diligently. However with his friends, he's blunt and can get easily annoyed, freely showing more emotion towards his peers. Liam isn't one for kind words, but he does support his friends.

Dynamite is a loud, rambunctious, and chaotic fellow who earned his name for his absolute love for explosives. He currently dates with Fishlips and is surprisingly the leader of the group, ensuring his friend's happiness and safety above all else. He is of black ethnicity and has a generally chill uncle vibe.

Fishlips is a professional singer and the mom friend in a friend group. She's doting to anyone she cares about. Fishlips is currently dating Dynamite and is often the one to dissolve internal conflict amongst her friends. Fishlips can adapt quickly and effectively when under pressure, making it difficult to get under her skin. She is often level-headed, calm, and an absolute girl boss.
