My name is Hedge, and I'm from the United Kingdom (England, South West specifically.)
I'm a character voice actor who specialises in fan dubs and soundalikes. My main focus is villains due my being British and having that gravitas that comes with it, as well as my ability to warp my voice to almost anything. As an audiobook narrator, I've lent my skills to a multitude of work in multiple genres from short stories, self-help, and also D&D inspired fantasy.
Some of my favourite voices include characters from the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise, with Vector and Dr. Eggman being two that I enjoy portraying. I've also performed in feature length audio dramas providing voices for such classic villains as Hades (Hercules,) Shan Yu (Mulan,) and Captain Hook (Peter Pan.)
BA Hons in Popular Music Performance and Production
I earned a 2:1 degree, specialising in vocals. I used my experience learned during my degree to improve my vocal skills both in musical and spoken form. I also learned Logic Pro as well as Pro Tools.
I took this course to help improve my skills as a voice actor, as well as to broaden my network and find better way of booking work. Currently I have booked 16 roles, a number of which are paid work and I now have more confidence in my abilities as a VA.
I learned the basic of AVID Pro Tools, enabling me to use it well enough to use for simple audio recording and editing projects. As a Pro Tools User, I am certified on the AVID Database.
I'm looking for character work, narration, broadcast, audiobook, and documentary voice overs.
