WCAnimated - Warriors: Into the Wild (Round 2)
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Welcome! This is the second casting call for WCAnimated's animated web series based on the WARRIORS series by Erin Hunter. We are now casting seven more characters appearing in our pilot, INTO THE WILD - PART 1.
The series will follow Rusty, a seemingly ordinary housecat who leaves his comfortable life behind to join ThunderClan, a group of wild forest cats. But the forest is full of dangers and secrets, and Rusty himself is driven by a prophesied destiny that will change the Warrior Clans forever.
ALL ACCENTS ARE WELCOME.
While our story is technically based in the English wilderness, we welcome any and all accents.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This project is fan-made and is collaborated on by a team of volunteers. Expect a welcoming, exciting, and collaborative environment-- but also expect to receive criticism and extensive direction. We may be volunteers, but our team is made up of industry professionals and quality is a priority at Tlacuache Studios. We will set soft deadlines, but we vow to accommodate our cast and crew's personal schedules to a reasonable extent. This position is unpaid, although we will help actors to get adequate resources as best we can.
We meet and work through Discord. A discord account is mandatory to partake in the project.
RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR AUDITIONING
- This round of auditions will close April 16, 2022. We do not plan on extending this deadline.
- A discord account is mandatory to partake in the project.
- As per Discord's terms of service, you must be at least 13 years old to audition. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Some roles will require you to provide at least two takes to audition. Take note of your role's description.
- You must follow us here on CCC. Otherwise we will not be able to contact you.
- You may audition for (and even be cast in) multiple roles.
- We are looking for clear and quality audio. No fans, chatter, or other background noise please!
- This is a fan project and therefor will work at a different pace than a traditional production. Many of the characters will feature in multiple episodes. Please ensure you are properly committed to the role and project.

Tigerclaw is one of ThunderClan's most respected warriors, a cat with natural authority. Fierce, stubborn, and full of ambition, Tigerclaw stops at nothing to protect his Clan and his reputation in it. He is considered a model warrior whom the entire Clan trusts unconditionally.
(Noble, fierce) He died with honor, struck down by Oakheart. I couldn't save Redtail, but I managed to take Oakheart's life.
(Sinister) I think it's time we dealt with this rogue.
(Urgent, authoritative) Quick! Apprentices, search every den! Warriors, patrol the camp boundary!
The former healer of ShadowClan, Yellowfang is a wise, witty old she-cat whose tongue is as sharp as her claws. Beyond her prickly exterior, though, she is a loving cat and a valuable mentor and friend, even as she carries countless secrets from her time with ShadowClan.
(Fierce) I will hunt and then I will leave, unless I decide to stay. Now move!
(Annoyed) Don't get your fur in a bunch, I know when I'm beat.
(Weary) Kid, you start running, they'll never let you stop. And I can't keep running. I'm too old.
Ravenpaw is a young, nervous ThunderClan cat, and Tigerclaw's apprentice. Though he appears jumpy and anxious, he is a loyal, goodhearted cat with a love for his friends and a vivid imagination.
IMPORTANT NOTE: While Ravenpaw begins as a teenager, he will grow up through the course of the series. Please demonstrate an ability to characterize both a younger and more mature voice. PLEASE DELIVER EACH LINE TWICE.
(Listening) Do you hear that?
(Fearful) Where can I go? I won't survive on my own!
(Breathing hard, panicked) W-We went on a patrol to Sunningrocks-- But we were ambushed by RiverClan warriors, led by Oakheart. Redtail challenged him and a fight broke out-- Oakheart had Redtail pinned and then-- Then--
Whitestorm is Bluestar's nephew, a senior warrior dedicated to and beloved by his Clan. Whitestorm is driven by faith in both StarClan and the hearts of the cats around him. He is much like his aunt, calm in demeanor and always ready to make sacrifices for the good of the Clan and guide those who need him.
(Friendly) Pleasure to meet you, kit.
(Teasing, amused) See, Lionheart? I told you he'd make it.
(Stern, wise) Warriors do not kill. Revenge is no reason to break the warrior code.
Longtail is a prickly young warrior and the first to voice his disapproval of Rusty joining the Clan. He is headstrong and stubborn, but undoubtedly dedicated to his Clan. He is close with Tigerclaw and Darkstripe and determined to prove himself a great warrior.
(Furious) You're dead, kittypet!
(Defiant) This Clan needs wildborn warriors to defend it. Not another soft mouth to feed!
(Jeering) What are you going to do about it, kittypet?
One of ThunderClan's most gifted apprentices, Sandpaw is as feisty as she is determined. She mocks Firepaw when he joins the Clan along with her friend Dustpaw. Her sassy, spirited, and fierce demeanor make her a valuable member of ThunderClan who is sure to become a great warrior.

(Shocked, grieving) Is Redtail really dead?
(Bitter, mocking) He smells like a kittypet! I can't believe I have to share a den with that revolting stench!
(Gentle teasing) I don't think Tigerclaw is very happy with you. What did you do to tweak his tail?
Dustpaw is a ThunderClan apprentice, a close friend of Sandpaw, and openly resentful towards Firepaw. Although he immaturely joins Sandpaw in bullying Firepaw, he is a hard worker and a trustworthy, practical member of the Clan.

(Scornful) Tigerclaw asked for Bluestar. Not some kittypet pretending to be a warrior.
(Mocking) Enjoy the food we caught for you. Who knows, you might even learn to catch your own someday!
(Defiant) I looked up to you. I wanted to be like you. But you betrayed ThunderClan. I'd rather die than follow you!
