Hello, everyone! For those of you familiar with Character x Listener readings, this casting call is for you~
With this ccc project, I’m hoping to assist my friend in gathering some quality VAs for their YT channel. The channel currently stands at 7.8k subscribers and has potential for future growth as we add more characters and improve our overall quality.
- Note that this is an unpaid project. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to appropriately pay people for their time and work as of now. If this deters you from applying, we completely understand.This is may change in the future if the channel grows enough that we can compensate our actors. For now this is simply something akin to a passion project of sorts and we would be glad to have you and be able to do projects for as long as you wish to stay with us.
This may be a short or long term project depending on your character as well as the duration you are willing to stay and voice with us.
A form of contact is needed when you submit an audition so it would be easier to reach you. In this case it would be best for you to have a discord as that is where all my contacting is done through. So, please list your discord in your audition!
You may audition for as many roles/positions as you may like. The more the merrier.
Please be respectful to others and understand that it's nothing personal if you do not get casted.
What we want from you
Even though this is an unpaid project we still would like to see a level of professionalism.
We want you to be able to impersonate the voices of these characters to the best of your ability. We want the listener to feel like they are there with the character. We also want you to be able to portray emotions in your lines as it is crucial for effective storytelling.
We also want you to be available for work after you’re cast since most scripts will be finished by the end of the deadline. If you are unavailable at those times don’t worry we’re pretty flexible on time and we understand that sometimes life gets in the way.
Mp3 files are recommended for auditions specially with characters that have long lines due to file size limitations
If you get casted, it is very important you agree to be reasonably dependable, and that you'll stick around for the part.
Rules/Auditioning Guidelines:
You will NEED a discord account. This is where our projects will be taking place, and how lines will be sent and received. The ONLY exceptions will be non reoccurring extras. If they are non reoccurring, it will say so in the character description.
Submit 2-3 takes per line, each with different intonations, deliveries/emotions
Include your discord + tag in the comments or notes of your audition. You may also message me this if you are uncomfortable leaving it as public information. If for some reason I am unable to contact you via Casting Call Club, I will have your discord account ready to contact.
Auditioning for any of these projects means you understand that you must be on top of your work. Strikes will be issued for missing or late work, and we have the right to remove you from the project if you have met all of your strikes. However, extensions may be granted as long as you ask and if there be a justifiable reason. If you also go MIA (missing in action) we will have the right to remove you from the cast.
Things to note:
There may be multiple voice actors for a specific role as not all voice actors could be available when lines are given. But don't worry. We try to give all VAs for that role a chance to voice them through a given cycle, so no VAs would be left out.
