Project Overview

PROJECT DESCIRPTION 


Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've done one of these on Casting Call but here I am trying my best to keep on going. Ok, let's get down onto what this project is all about! 

So, this project is for fun and practice, nothing too serious and the Kingdom Hearts fandubs/voice overs will either be in the games cutscenes or in comic dubs that can be found online from artists, and will be uploaded into my Youtube Channel, Twitter and possibly Tiktok. The game cutscenes will be from Back Cover, Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts 2, Dream Drop Distance, Re-Coded and Kingdom Hearts 3. Keep in mind that I won't fandub all of the cutscenes, only those that I would perfer to voice over. 

I will be voicing a few characters in the KH series such as Roxas, Ventus and possibly Vanitas, I apologize if there was a character that you were hoping to audition that isn't there. A few of my fellow actors/actresses will be doing other characters such as Terra and Aqua. I might even add more roles soon.

The actors and actresses that will be casted here will have communication with me on Discord, in order to work together in most likely a live voice over 1v1 voice call in order to get the best performance. Although, text in Discord is also another option. I'll do my best to help and direct you guys!

There will be no deadlines currently on the fanbubs but on this Casting Call it is on April 21, 2022. If no one auditoned for a certain character or haven't nailed the character, then I will extend the deadline, if needed. If not then I will have to find an actor/actress off of Casting Call or cut the character from the project on doing fandubs.

As soon as I'm starting to make a KH fandub, I would appreciate that you would be able to the have time to dub with me as soon as possible when I'm ready. But, of course if you're busy, please find some free time in your schedule. 


REQUIREMENTS


  • Have a clear and decent mic with little to no background noise.(I really don't wanna hear any loud background noises or audio static/white noise) Be sure to check your recordings
  • Be sure to have the time and commitment to send or record with me the lines as soon as possible.
  • If you wanna ask me any questions, please do it here in Casting Call only in DM's.
  • Must have Discord, if not then it would be best to download it or we can find another solution to our form of communication elsewhere, like email or other apps.
  • I will send you a friend request on Discord if casted, so be sure to leave your Discord along with your audtion.
  • You can do multiple takes, but the maximum is 2 or 3 for each line. If your only gonna do 1 take then that's ok, but you'll have a better chance booking a role.
  • Having knowledge on Kingdom Hearts doesn't matter that much whether you're a fan or not, but it would help since you would have a clear idea on how the characters are in general. 
  • I'm not looking for exact voices but a similar vibe of the original VA's characters (except Donald and Goofy), but it is important that you can capture a character's entire self, through your voice and convince me that is how each and one of them would sound, act and feel on each line, focus on your acting that's what is most important.


I hope you all can audition and potentially embark on this Kingdom Hearts fandub journey with me. A few days ago it was Kingdom Hearts 20th anniversary and hopefully we'll get more news about it. I may do another one of these in a ''Part 2'' soon, but only time will tell if I want to or not. Anyway, this is all I have to say to you all! May your heart be your guiding key!

  • Today is the last day to audition, 8 hours and 20 minutes left

    Hello everyone, I hope ya'll are doing good day. As of now, today is the last day until the roles will be given out at midnight CST. If you see any roles that have not been given out by that time period, it's because those who auditioned for it didn't really got the character like I hoped for, which means I'll have to find someone off of CCC and I also have to cut some characters from the fandubs like Master Eraqus, who no one auditioned. I might add another one of these in the future for more characters but for now, this is all to it. Thank you all for auditioning and I hope to work with those who got the roles soon and to those that didn't, I hope that you can continue to audition for any other project and keep on going.     Hello everyone, it's been quite a while for another update to be posted. I'm happy to see that all of you decieded to audition and wanna try out for fandubs to be a part of it, it means a lot! Over 100 auditions is insane. There have been some that have definently got the character on spot and have caught my attention to cast them and on the 18th I'll start casting the ones I believe that I'm 100% sure that got the role! Some will be roles will still be open due to either not finding the right actor/actress or needing more time to think on who to choose for the role. Keep in mind I will expand the deadline if needed, most likely in one more week. So I hope you all can understand and rather you get casted or not, that I'm thankful for this many people auditioning and wish you the best of luck for your acting dreams and careers!

Naminé is the Nobody of Kairi, and wields the power to manipulate the memories of Sora and those around him. 

''She is quite quiet, angelic, sweet, fragile, peaceful, forgiving and generous. Axel, the Flurry of Dancing Flames, is the nobody of Lea and Rank VIII of Organization XIII.

At first he is shown to be mysterious, stoic, and calm demeanor on par with that of Marluxia. A very good liar, he makes a point of keeping himself difficult to read. Buy he also has a very sarcastic and laid-back, "go with the flow" outlook on many things, including missions and battles. His best friends are Roxas and Xion, and he is protective and kind towards them.''

Riku is a life-long friend and rival of Sora, and he plays a key role in the Kingdom Hearts Series, he later becomes a Keybalde Master. 

He is a calm, cool, collected teenager who is not afraid to push the boundaries. In his earlier apperances he was extremely competive and jealous towards Sora and down the line gets possessed by Ansem for power, he later feels guilt from this. He matures and redeems himself by protecting his friends and masters the darkness within him.''

Kairi is one of the original main characters appearing in Kingdom Hearts. She is the original persona of Naminé. Kairi was born in Radiant Garden and currently lives on Destiny Islands along with her two best friends, Sora and Riku.

Kairi is caring, charismatic, kindhearted and brave. She is determined and courageous when someone she cares about is in danger, as she always puts herself in harm's way to help Sora when he's in trouble despite the dangers. Kairi's heart is said to be filled only with pure light and goodness.

Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, sometimes referred to as Xehanort's Heartless, is the Heartless of Terra-Xehanort and a member of the real Organization XIII. In KH 3, he is finally defeated, says his last sentences on what he felt and bids farewell to both Riku and Sora.

 Ansem is cold, highly intelligent, calculating, and utterly ruthless. He treats people and their hearts as either tool to be manipulated and disposed of, or as cattle for his ravenous Heartless legions. He reveres power and knowledge above all things, and he despises  His arrogance ultimately leads to his destruction when the door to Kingdom Hearts is opened, and his greatest thesis is, in the end, proved wrong.

Xemnas, the Superior of the In-Between, is the Nobody of Xehanort via Terra-Xehanort, Rank I of Organization XIII, Rank III of the real Organization XIII, and the ruler of The World That Never Was.

Being the founder of Organization XIII and apparently the oldest of Nobodies, Xemnas is truly emotionless, in every sense of the word, and does not even remember what it was like to have any feelings. His lack of emotion deprives him of remorse for his actions, as well as the loss of the other members of the Organization. He only cared about obtaining Kingdom Hearts and his desire for power. After his defeat In KHIII, he finally experiences emotion and expresses his pain.

Young Xehanort

Young Xehanort is Master Xehanort's time-traveling younger self, and Rank XII of the real Organization XIII. At some point in time, he was gifted the power to transcend time by his future Heartless in order to assemble a new Organization XIII in the future, consisting entirely of thirteen vessels infused with a fragment of his heart.

Young Xehanort displays a near-identical personality to his future self as Master Xehanort, though he is shown to be slightly cocky and arrogant as a result of his youth.

Saïx, the Luna Diviner, is the Nobody of Isa, Rank VII of Organization XIII, and Rank VIII of the real Organization XIII.

He appears to be one of the most ''Nobody-like'' of the Organization. Despite claiming to remember what possessing a heart was like, he behaves mostly as a cold, emotionless, and efficient operative until his final battle. He acts very calmly, never losing composure in even the direst of situations. In KH III, he admits to regret on how he treated Roxas & Xion due to jealoulsy and abandoment from Axel leaving him.''

Donald Duck

Donald Duck is a character from the Kingdom Hearts series. In Kingdom Hearts, Donald is the Royal Magician of Disney Castle and the royal assistant for King Mickey. As such, his weapon of choice is a Staff.

Donald is the most aggressive member of the group. Though he has mastered spells, Donald is very reckless and is the comic relief in many games. Initially, he and Sora often argued, but in the end grow into a deep friendship. Donald is also very protective over Goofy and King Mickey. All in all, deep within Donald's short tempered and impatient nature he is actually good hearted, as he would sacrifice anything for the sake of friendship

Goofy is Captain of the Royal Knights of King Mickey's court. He and Disney Castle's Court Magician Donald went out to search for the King, and ends up teaming with Sora for the rest of their journey.

While his name might insinuate that he is simple-minded and unintelligent, it is a misnomer as often times Goofy has shown to the voice of reason for Sora and his companions, and is also amazingly calm and cheerful, retaining his composure when Sora and Donald are completely undone, he even has more common sense than them.

Hayner is a character that first appears in Kingdom Hearts II. A resident of Twilight Town, Hayner is a friend of Pence, Olette and Roxas and is also the rival of Seifer.

Hayner is impulsive, easily angered and determined, and is always looking for a new adventure. He is bold to the point of recklessness, once even charging Axel unarmed. He gets bored easily during uneventful times, as demonstrated when he constantly pesters his friends to do something during their summer vacation.

Pence is a character from Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. From Twilight Town, he is a fifteen year-old boy and a friend of Hayner and Olette. His data counterpart is also friends with Roxas in the Simulated Twilight Town.

A good-humored boy with an even temper, he is close to Olette like a brother. He also usually ends up being dragged by Olette to help her with her shopping. He has a knowledgeable account of the Seven Wonders of Twilight Town and is apparently skilled with computers as he manages to access the computer in the mansion.

Olette is one of the characters in Kingdom Hearts II. A resident of Twilight Town, Olette is a fifteen year-old girl and is a friend of Hayner and Pence. The digital version of herself is very close friends with Roxas.

Her tomboy attitude that mixes with her happy-go-lucky attitude makes her fit in with the three boys she usually hangs out with in Twilight Town: Hayner, Pence, and Roxas. She's intelligent, a bookworm, and witty. She also has a sense of responsibility, as shown on the fifth day in the Simulated Twilight Town when she persuades Hayner, Pence and Roxas to get started on their summer assignment, which they reluctantly do.

Easily the most enigmatic member of Organization XIII, Zexion is marked by his unfaltering calmness, intellect, eloquence, and dillegence within the Organisation. Courteous, yet sometimes curt, he is occasionally seen allowing a deeper personality; smirking or outright grinning - something he and Larxene share. After being re-completed along with the others, Ienzo is much more talkative, utilizing advanced vocabulary, numerous scientific phrases, and exhibits a scholar-like persona. He does have a bad habit of rambling on with his explanations.

Luxord, the Gambler of Fate, is Rank X of Organization XIII, and Rank V of the real Organization XIII. He possesses the power of time manipulation, and uses his ability to force his opponents to play timed games.

Luxord is a man of games and luck. His enjoyment of games is further portrayed in his additional scenes in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, which show him in an almost uncaring light - he seems to not be bothered as long as he can continue to gamble and see interesting things. Luxord is also portrayed as a master of rhetoric, with an advanced vocabulary and also possesses a notably British accent, furthering his air of sophistication.

Xigbar has a confident, uncaring, indifferent, laid-back and cocky attitude, and likes to taunt Sora to put him off-guard, though with limited success. When not on missions, he occasionally enjoys eavesdropping on his fellow Organization members. He relies heavily on instinct rather than on intelligence for both decision-making and fighting.

Larxene, the Savage Nymph, is the Nobody of Elrena, Rank XII of Organization XIII, and Rank VI of the real Organization XIII. Larxene is the original Organization's only female member, and also has a very sadistic nature. She controls lightning.

She can be undoubtedly cold, ruthless, and uncaring, and appears to love nothing more than to bring other people down. Described the most as a domineering woman of strong personality, who does not ask, but tells, she has sharp wit and sardonic remarks ready to spite others on purpose. Her jokes tend to be more ill-humored as well, enabling anyone to successfully get irritated, and sometimes if pushed far enough, yell or charge at her in anger, a reaction which she seems to find humorous.

Xaldin is a high-ranking and independent Organization member, working alone for the entirety of his presence. He is tall, strongly built, and very acrobatic, and his physical capabilities are greatly enhanced by his control of the attribute of wind.

Ansem the Wise is the sage-king of Radiant Garden during Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. In order to protect his people from the darkness, he spent much of his time studying the heart with his apprentices. He himself gained dark powers, renaming himself DiZ (Darkness in Zero) and setting out on a quest to avenge himself.

Originally, Ansem was a peaceful and kind scholar, who sought to learn more to help him in his reign as Radiant Garden's king. After being exiled by the Nobodies of his apprentices, Ansem became consumed by loath, though still retained his dedication to protecting the worlds. Because of his apprentices, he held a strong racism against Nobodies, seeing every one of them as nothing but an empty existence taking up space.

Seifer is a Final Fantasy character in Kingdom Hearts II, who resides in Twilight Town. Seifer is always seen with his posse Fuu, Rai, and Vivi. He shares a rivalry with Hayner and his gang, and often picks fights with them.

Much like the original Seifer of Final Fantasy VIII, he is cocky, sarcastic, and a self-proclaimed protector of order, or at least, his idea of order, which is just bullying people into following what he says. Seifer appears as very brash, rude, and taunting. He signifies himself as the "protector of the town".

Rai is a minor character from Twilight Town that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. He is a member of the "Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee" led by Seifer, along with Fuu and Vivi. Rai is never seen without Fuu. He originated from Final Fantasy VIII as the character Raijin.

Rai is loud, brash, and tries to exude a manly attitude. He is very loyal to Seifer and does anything Seifer asks. However, he is not very smart, so he relies on his strength and is easily angered. As part of the Disciplinary Committee, Rai often bullies others, especially Roxas and his friends. Rai is easily identified by his penchant for ending his sentences with "y'know?", which is noted in Jiminy's Journal.

P.S. He has slightly more lines than Fuu, but a whole lot less than Seifer.

Fuu is a minor character from Twilight Town that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. She is a member of the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee led by Seifer, along with Rai and Vivi. She originated in Final Fantasy VIII as the character Fujin.

Fuu has a silent and stoic personality, as evident by her simple and efficient mode of speech: she speaks only in single words or short phrases (e.g. "Instant annihilation"). Out of the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee members, she seems to be the most loyal to Seifer. She acts as the Committee's photographer, recording their moments of victory. As part of the Disciplinary Committee, Fuu often bullies others, especially Hayner, Pence, Olette, and (in the simulation) Roxas.

P.S. She barely says anything and has very few lines, less than Rai.

Ventus's Chirity

The Chirithy are cat-like, anthropomorphic Dream Eaters that appear in Kingdom Hearts χ and act as companions to Keyblade wielders. They were created by the Master of Masters to oversee their respective Keyblade wielder's progress and provide guidance.

 Ventus's Chirithy appears in The Final World, where it speaks to Sora and explains what the world is, and how Sora has been there before. It goes on to explain that Sora arrived there due to his heart and body perishing, but something is holding him there on the edge of death and life. Once Sora finds all the pieces of himself, it returns, somewhat annoyed that he is still hanging around. When Sora goads Chirithy forward, Ventus notices it and calls to it with open arms. The Chirithy bounds over happily and leaps into his arms, cuddling him before being introduced to Aqua and Terra.

Scrooge McDuck is a character that appears in Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts III. He is the uncle of Donald and the grand uncle of the trio Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

Scrooge is the richest duck in the world, having gained his massive wealth from hard work and being "tougher than the toughies and smarter then the smarties and making it square," on the course of his many adventures in finding treasure and through mining and other business endeavors. Like his nephew, Donald, he has a temper, and can appear grouchy and selfish, but is essentially a good-hearted person. He also cares for his family more than his money.

Eraqus, known to his students as Master Eraqus, is a Keyblade Master featured in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. He is the master of Terra and Aqua, and he also serves as the second master of Ventus.

Master Eraqus is a strong Keyblade master, caring for Terra, Ventus, and Aqua as his own children. Stern and willing to instruct, one major goal he has in life appears to be preserving peace throughout the worlds, as he rashly attacks Ventus when Eraqus discovers that through his dark half, Vanitas, Ventus can create the χ-blade. Despite his sometimes cold actions toward his apprentices, he still cares deeply for them. He has Aqua follow Terra out of concern for the youth, gives a pained apology to Ventus before attempting to destroy the boy, and sheds a tear when he is forced to face off against Terra.

The Master of Masters, also known simply as the Master, is a Keyblade Master who appears in Kingdom Hearts χ. Gifted with the power of foresight, he writes the Book of Prophecies and trains six apprentices: Ira, Aced, Invi, Gula, Ava, and Luxu.

Although highly revered for his immense intelligence and foresight, the Master of Masters behaves in an unpredictable and eccentric manner, making his true intentions difficult to discern. He is a mischievous and playful individual, appearing curious about what will become of the world after the Keyblade War, in spite of already knowing the answer. Although he demonstrates a more serious side to his persona, especially when talking about the specific roles he had given to the foretellers, he has a tendency to weave in and out of serious moments at a mere whim, being somber at one moment and laughing playfully the next.

Luxu is instructed to meet the Master of Masters in the Foretellers' Chamber, where he is bestowed with a Keyblade containing the Master's own "Gazing Eye". Luxu initially misunderstands that "Gazing Eye" is the name of the Keyblade, but the Master corrects him that it is unnamed, and Luxu names it "No Name" in jest. s for the Box, the Master instructs Luxu to never open it or reveal its contents, but at Luxu's insistent questions, he whispers the box's contents to him, shocking and perplexing the boy.

He is a mindful individual; he takes care to preserve the events that lead to the future, and tries not to upset the balance between the Unions when Gula starts collecting more Lux. He can, however, be quick to make assumptions about people and about the state of affairs. He is quick to assume that there is a traitor among the five Foretellers, and he is also quick to assume that the traitor is the person in possession of the Lost Page.

Ava is a Keyblade Master who appears in Kingdom Hearts χ. As a Foreteller, she leads the Vulpes Union and is an apprentice of the Master of Masters. She is the founder of the Dandelions.

Ava is a kindhearted individual whose youth enables her to befriend the members of not only her Union, but others as well. Despite her young age, she is prudent and diligent, fulfilling the role the Master of Masters assigned to the letter, despite her own personal misgivings in regards to some of his teachings; when questioned on this, however, she is quick to assert that the Master is beyond reproach despite all evidence to the contrary. She is very forthcoming in most matters, able to tell Ephemer about her doubts as a foreteller, and able to personally invite others to become members of the Dandelions. She also displays a more childish side, as she is openly infatuated by the Chirithy the Master presents to the foretellers.

Aced is a Keyblade Master who appears in Kingdom Hearts χ. As a Foreteller, he leads the Ursus Union and is an apprentice of the Master of Masters.

Aced is a fearless individual with a strong sense of justice. Prior to the Keyblade War, Aced wanted to take over for the Master of Masters someday and expresses great disappointment when he is not elected to lead the Foretellers in favor of Ira. However, it is because of his straightforward nature that the Master assigned Aced to be Ira's right-hand man and directs him to guide Ira on the right path, a role he reluctantly accepted at the time. In spite of this, Aced is arrogant, short-tempered, and self-righteous, openly defying the Master's orders against creating alliances and later plotting to usurp Ira as leader of the Unions.
