Trinity Bridge: First Night Chapters 3 & 4

Project Overview

"First Night" is the first short story in my upcoming Novel/Audiodrama series "Trinity Bridge."

The series is about warring supernatural factions such as Werewolves, Vampires, Mages and Hunters and all their squabbling subsequent subspecies and factions being thrown into an impending apocalypse scenario forcing them to cast their differences aside for the sake of the planet. The task, however, is easier said than done since old scars and bad blood run deep within these factions and some would sooner see the world burn than stand beside the enemy.

"First Night" is a short story that helps introduce readers and listeners to the concepts of Vampires and Werewolves in this universe and how a human is turned into each one, while also showcasing the politics and relationships shared by the different supernaturals within their own kin and among the rest of the creatures of the night.

The story takes place in Chicago and focuses on two human women, Anita and Marsha, who find themselves thrust into the crossfire of a squabble between a resident Werewolf and the insidious vampire organization known as the necropolis.

Alright! With introductions out of the way, I am incredibly happy and proud of all the progress I've managed to make thanks to the amazing talent of my brilliant voice cast! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me out so far. Chapter 1 turned out great and Chapter 2 is coming along beautifully!

And since I have no intention of stopping, I am looking to see if I cannot find some more voices for the rest of the characters introduced in chapters 3 & 4!

RULES FOR AUDITIONING

1. Have a decent mic. It doesn't have to be uber pro level sound but If it sounds like headset or phone quality, you're out.

2. Act professional. I mean that in every sense of the word. When we are communicating I ask that you keep a professional and mature demeanor towards us and any of your fellow actors during audition and throughout production. When literally acting, be sure to give it your all and give me a believable performance. You don't need any prior acting experience to do be considered, just give me the best you got and I'll listen and consider you.

Feel free to audition for multiple parts. There is a chance you can be cast as multiple rolls should you desire it.

Sadly I still can't afford to pay anyone yet so if you are gonna do this, I must ask you to do this from a place of love.

Hope to hear from you all soon!

Latest Updates

  • RE-CAST NEEDED

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have had to re-open one of my previously closed roles. This role is crucial to the chapter/story so I would like to get it filled ASAP so I can make up for lost time and progress. I urge anyone who is interested to audition.
  • New main villain role added!

So it seems I have fallen out of contact with the actress who initially played the villainess, Lilac and need someone to replace her ASAP. She is a major villain character in this story with quite a few lines. So I need some committed talented actresses to bring their A-Games to this role.

Smith is a Vampire and a member of the "Sacred Band" comprising the antagonists of this story. Vince is for the most part, stoic, cold and logical but his emotions can be drawn out if things start to get heated. He holds a begrudging respect for the Band's unofficial leader, Vincent, and a very outspoken annoyance toward his band mate Lilac.

His voice is deep and elegant but almost deprived of any humanity and emotion. Not to the point he sounds robotic but he always comes off as serious and very grim.

  • [Calm and Rational] "Hold on, Vince. This may mean something… perhaps some sort of cryptic insight. She is a Quassus after all."[Pronounced "KWAH-SOOS"]

  • [Clod and Irate] "Then either go away or be silent. Some of us are content to have the easy job and we don’t need your senseless bitching every 2 minutes of the way. It just makes an otherwise easy task into a needlessly tedious ordeal."

  • [Seething but controlled anger] "That is enough from you, child! I will not dance to your psychotic tune! If you crave violence, though, I may be able to give you more than your fill!"

On the surface, Ms. Lockley is just a Night Nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  Secretly, however, she is employed in a human trafficking operation .

Her voice is deep and gravelly from heavy smoking and she sounds very disgruntled and sarcastic. Nothing really phases her anymore these days.

She has relatively few lines but I would still appreciate anyone willing to play her to put their all into the role.

  • "Been awhile since your kind did business with us."

  • "Heh! No wonder the Necropolis is such a shit show."

  • "Before we go any further, I’d ask that you finalize this transaction."

Role assigned to: Olivia Steele

Lillian Jones is a high ranking traitor Werewolf and the elder sister of series protagonist Carlyle Jones. She believes in saving humanity by any means necessary, even if it means killing her people, the planet and even herself to do it. Still, though she tries to suppress them she still holds love in her heart for her brother that can interfere with her plans and intentions.

Lillian's voice is cold and serious with just a hint of human emotion lingering within it.

She doesn't play much of a role in this particular story but will become VERY prominent as the series goes on, thus if you want this role, I will have to ask you to give it your absolute best.

  • You need to make a choice, Carlyle…

  • Will you save yourself and save humanity... Or will you die with your people?

  • I don’t know what I expected.

Lilac is a stone cold bitch who wants nothing more than to watch everyone around her suffer bleed for her amusement. She loves to manipulate and mess with others to get her way, including members of her own sacred band. So when she discovers her old flame, Marsha, the woman who got her ass locked up, the woman who humiliated her, the woman who stood up to her and refuse her, is in the area she decides that even though she's on a mission, there's still enough time for a little revenge.

She speaks with a very Urban/Street dialect.

  • This is some fuckin bullshit!

  • Why the fuck not?! We in the enemy’s house! Why NOT wreck they shit?!

  • I ain’t seen you smile or laugh since I met you, but I know you love wreckin shit as much as I do. Besides, why you listenin to every damn word Vince say? You a Celoso [Seh-low-so]! You should be tellin that Regillus [Reh-Jill-lus] fuck, Vince, to shove his orders up his ass! Show him who’s the real fuckin boss! Or do you just enjoy being his bitch?
