Totem Club (Animated Cartoon Pilot)
Project Overview
Background:
Totem Club is a pilot for an online web series I've been developing since 2012. It centers around a group of children who are granted powers via totems: powerful guardian spirits that protect humanity. Influenced by shonen anime, the show's genre is action/adventure and is geared towards a young audience. This audition is specifically roles in the pilot. In the event that more episodes are produced, more characters will be open for roles.
AUDITION GUIDELINES
(Failing to follow these guidelines may result in your audition denied)
Good mic quality is important! Auditions with pops, background noise, peaking, or generally low mic quality will have a lower chance of getting accepted.
Acting quality is also important! This project contains action scenes, so please be able to provide a realistic range of emotion and volume in your performance.
Age must be 17 or higher
Feel free to audition for as many characters as you like!
Only three takes per line, please.
At the moment, this project is unpaid work.
Please be patient with me, as animations like these take a considerably long amount of time.
Please have a discord I can communicate with you with, as I'm currently working on a server for us to give/receive updates on the project. If you don't have one, provide an email instead.

Thank you for Auditioning!!
I would like to thank everyone who sent auditions for this project, I got a lot more than I expected and choosing voices will be difficult. I will finalize roles and upload the cast on Tuesday, September 10th. I would also like to apologize for anyone who received a rejected notification BEFORE the deadline, as that was mostly for sorting purposes. I am new to using this website for casting calls, and after being alerted by an auditioner I am now aware of it. Once again, thank you all, and have a good day!

Erika is the kind-hearted energetic protagonist of the series and the leader of her friends. She carries an unknown totem no one has ever heard of before. Despite its powerful and destructive nature, she believes it can be used for good. Erika has a strong interest in helping and inspiring others and has a deep concern for everyone she meets.
Her voice should be bubbly and compassionate, while at the same time energetic and tomboyish.

Well, guys, I consider this a job well done. (Gasp) Ooooh, we should go to my house to celebrate! We can stay up all night, make cookies, eat ice cream, and even watch a scary movie!

(Trying to reassure someone who is scared; calm, caring)
All totems present themselves to humans in the form of animals. For example, Lucas’ totem takes the form of a kitsune. As for me, I’ve… never actually seen what mine is. I’ve only gotten glimpses of it in dreams.

One of the members of the Totem Club, Lukas is an adventurous and carefree child. A lover of martial arts and food, He is the carrier of Kitsune, the Fox Totem. He enjoys the thrill of going on magical quests with his friends and is never one to back down from a fight. Though he is at times hot-headed and cocky, he is a pure-hearted soul that desires to live life to the fullest.

Scorpian Man is the pilot's main antagonist. Cold and violent, he plans on stealing enough fruit from the legendary Pixie Tree to achieve immortality. His stinger causes his victims to experience paralysis and even hallucinations.
