Torn: Audio Drama EPISODE 2
Project Overview
NOTE: These rolls are mainly extras, most of the main cast already chosen.
Foster Knox, a 27-year-old cop who upholds the law to prevent his self-destruction, finds himself in the grips of a serial killer who tests his reverence for the sacredness of life through horrific tasks. Will he destroy himself in the process, or find righteousness in the havoc he wreaks?
This show will embark on an exploration of existentialism and will touch upon heavy topics concerning self-harm and abuse. You must be over 18 to audition as these things are sensitive.
Of course, there's a touch of humor. This project isn't drowning in emo.
This show is going to last 6 episodes, varying in length, and if reception goes well, the second season will be made (already planned out and written).
REQUIREMENTS:
These characters are all based in Texas. It is important you retain a southern drawl as you read out your lines. But don't go overboard. Sound subtle, like Josh Brolin from No Country for Old Men. It's there, but not overpowering.
No echoing, background noise, or plosives.

Foster's former high school classmate. With a southern twang, she's quick to judge people and hold resentments for small things. Don't be afraid to improv!
