UNITED LEGION OF ETERNITY – Casting Call
“Every idea has at least been thought of once. Have you ever wondered where your creative thoughts go? Doveport City, capital of the United Legion of Eternity ( ULE ); home of all that's imagined. The nation of our fairytale central. The point where all your creations come to life; the blessed, the broken, and the brief.”
- Melody Farshine
Hello everyone! This casting call is for The United Legion of Eternity (ULE) A voice‑acted, animated‑series style project I’ve been building since I was 10 years old beside my best friend, Addie. I’m 19 now. It’s a modernized fairytale universe where creation comes to life, characters break the fourth wall, and the world resets in looping “seasons” with shifting tones and genres.
If you’re unfamiliar with our premise:
ULE follows four self‑aware characters who realize they’re part of a narrative. They question who writes their story, why their world resets, and how to break the cycle all while navigating a cast of non‑aware characters who repeat the same patterns every season.
This is a long-term deferred project. Please do not audition if you are unavailable for long term collaboration. If the project generates profit. All profit will go to anyone who has helped along the way. Will be discussed further when we get there. All I want is to bring my and addie’s creation to life, and if it becomes successful, all contributors will be paid.

Matthew Mac — Character Description
Role: Main Age: 27 Tone: Sarcastic, sharp, emotionally grounded
Character Overview: Matthew Mac is one of the three triplets in the Mac family dynasty and a central protagonist in The United Legion of Eternity. Love interest of Harley Deathbane. He’s the undisputed king of sass — second only to his twin, Jimmy. Matthew is the type of man who’ll insult your shoes while pulling you out of danger, and somehow you’ll thank him for both. His teasing is a twisted form of affection; if he picks on you, it means you’ve earned a place in his guarded inner circle.
Beneath the snark and sharp edges lies a fiercely loyal, passionate, and quietly protective core. Matthew is introverted by nature — not shy, simply selective. He’s not a people person unless you’ve proven yourself worth the energy. Assertive with strong morals, he’s quick‑witted, defensive when cornered, and always ready with a snippy comeback.
Voice Notes:
Mid‑to‑late 20s
Confident, dry delivery with emotional depth
Able to shift smoothly between sarcastic banter and serious intensity
Think: a reluctant hero with the sharp tongue of an older brother who’s seen too much and trusts too little
- Sarcastic
- Sharp
- male adult
( Protective ) You better not fuck this up because Rose is Harley’s best friend, and you know that! If you hurt her, you hurt Harley. Which means I’m going to hurt you. So don’t fuck up again!!
( Confused Panic ) Wh‑why are you hiding behind me? Harley— Harley, what did you do?!
( Defensive, embarrassed yelling ) IT’S NOT A DIARY! IT’S A JOURNAL! ALEX!
Veronica Mac — Character Description
Role: Main Age: 27 Tone: Fierce, guarded, emotionally complex
Character Overview: Veronica Mac is one of the eldest of the Mac siblings — triplet to Matthew and Jimmy, and the older sister to Alex and Leo. Love interest of Brandon Foremaw. She carries herself like someone who’s had to be strong for far too long. Quick‑tempered and unapologetically feisty, Veronica meets the world with aggression, cockiness, and a hostile edge that keeps most people at a safe distance.
But beneath the armor is a deeply protective, courageous, and fiercely loyal heart. Veronica’s honesty is brutal, her patience nearly nonexistent, and her pessimism borders on a defining trait. She isn’t cold by nature — she’s guarded because she’s terrified of being hurt again. Her vulnerability exists, but she hides it behind sharp words, hard stares, and a refusal to let anyone see her break.
Voice Notes:
Mid‑20s female voice
Strong, sharp delivery with emotional restraint
Able to shift between hostility, vulnerability, and dry humor
Shift from Monotone, dry, flat to exaggerated hostility, shouting and bluntness
- female adult
- Guarded
- Fierce
( Crude, Confident banter ) Aiden! I don’t want to hear anything from you right now! You look like you pee sitting down!
( Vulnerable ) I didn’t fall for you because you were perfect. I fell because you kept showing up when everything else left.
( Emotional Confrontation ) Yeah, yeah. You say you saved me. But you did it for yourself, not for me!
Harley Deathbane — Character Description
Role: Main Age: 26 Tone: Chaotic, charming, emotionally volatile
Character Overview: Harley is one of the central protagonists of The United Legion of Eternity and the love interest of Matthew Mac. Her voice doesn’t match her appearance, which she’s very embarrassed by. She’s a blend of sweetness and emotional instability, shaped by a deeply traumatic, isolated, and abusive past. Harley is empathic, well‑liked, and a natural crowd‑pleaser.
She’s chaotic, airheaded, vulgar, eccentric, and wildly unpredictable. Harley has good morals and a bad habit of people-pleasing, but she delivers justice with profanity and zero hesitation. Her emotional range is wide and explosive: one moment bubbly and affectionate, the next spiraling into raw vulnerability or pure chaos. She’s a walking contradiction — lovable, unstable, heroic, and deeply humane despite her outside appearance.
Voice Notes:
- High-pitched female voice
- Exaggerate speech and emotions
- Capable of switching between comedic chaos and raw vulnerability
- Strong comedic instincts with the ability to snap into serious emotional beats
- female child
- chaotic
- female young adult
- high-pitched
( Forceful, yelling) BRANDON. STOP. STOP SINGING. I CAN’T HANDLE IT. SHUT THE HELL UP.
( Hopeful ) Well, if I do one thing today, may I be the sunshine for someone else!!
( Vulnerable ) Maybe one day, instead of being remembered for what I bring to others, they’ll recognize what I endured to get there.
⚠️ Content Warning
This character intentionally portrays harmful, attention‑seeking behavior, including faking mental‑health and chronic conditions. Auditioners should be prepared to perform morally fraught, sensitive material with care and responsibility. These behaviors are not endorsed by the story — they are part of the character’s arc and the consequences she creates.
Role: Antagonist / Morally Complex Character Age: Early 20s Tone: Dramatic, insecure, manipulative, emotionally volatile
Character Overview: Beth Harlow is driven by a desperate, aching need to be seen. She exaggerates or fabricates mental‑health and chronic conditions — claiming things like DID or Tourette‑like symptoms — as a way to command attention, sympathy, and control. She doesn’t begin as a villain; her behavior stems from deep insecurity, jealousy, and a long‑standing pattern of pathological lying that spirals into real harm for the people around her.
Beth is boy‑obsessed, jealous, and relentlessly attention‑seeking. She craves validation, and she’ll twist narratives, dramatize situations, or weaponize vulnerability to keep the spotlight on herself. Her charm is performative, her emotions theatrical, and her defensiveness explosive.
Voice Notes:
Early‑20s female voice
Performative, dramatic, emotionally volatile
Able to flip between charming vulnerability and sharp, defensive aggression
Strong emotional range; must convey insecurity beneath the theatrics
- warm
- female young adult
- Manipulative
- Charm
- Pick-Me
( Clingy Sweetness ) Oh, good, you came. I was starting to think you forgot me forever and ever and ever.
( Quirky Self-Defense ) No, really, I’m different. I don’t like the same things. I like weird things. And I don’t steal fries. I only borrow them! See? Unique.
( Wanting, Almost Desperate ) I just want someone who remembers my birthday and my favorite cereal. Is that too much? Other girls only want money… or guys with good looks.
Role: Supporting Antagonist / Comic Instigator Age: Early 20s Tone: Airy, fashionable, clueless, easily influenced
Character Overview: Lee Gray is the trend‑setting bimbo who follows Annabelle and Annie like a perfectly manicured shadow. She’s extremely attractive, effortlessly fashionable, and always on top of the latest trends — but beneath the glossy exterior is a girl with almost no self‑awareness and even less backbone.
Lee doesn’t set out to hurt anyone; she simply drifts into drama. She repeats whatever she’s told, dates whoever makes her feel noticed, and sleeps around without thinking twice. Her loyalty is performative, her confidence is surface‑level, and her decisions are driven by validation rather than intention. She’s the kind of character who amplifies conflict without ever realizing she’s the one causing it.
Voice Notes:
Early‑20s female voice
Light, airy, bubbly, slightly vacant tone
Playful, flirtatious delivery with effortless comedic timing
Must sell cluelessness without making it cartoonish; easily led, sweetly oblivious
- Foggy
- ditsy
- female young adult
- Bubbly
( Melodramatic Panic, sobbing ) I just bought four pregnancy tests… (pause) They all came out positive. (pause) How am I gonna feed four kids!?
( Genuine Curiosity ) How come women never take a DNA test to see if it’s their baby?
⚠️ Content Warning
This character intentionally portrays violent and stalking behavior as part of his narrative role. Auditioners should be comfortable performing disturbing, adult themes. These behaviors are not endorsed by the story — they reflect the character’s intentionally unsettling design.
Johnny Mac — Character DescriptionRole: Occasional Antagonist Age: 24 Tone: Childlike, eerie, obsessive, unpredictable
Character Overview: Johnny Mac is twenty‑four but behaves like a toddler — emotionally arrested, impulsive, and disturbingly childlike.
He speaks in a baby‑like cadence and uses infantile mannerisms to disarm, confuse, and manipulate the people around him.
Beneath the sing‑song sweetness lies something far darker.
In the story’s context,
Johnny is murderous and cannibalistic, with obsessive, stalker‑like behavior directed toward his siblings.
He’s creepy, possessive, and unnervingly single‑minded about keeping the people he loves close — whether they want him there or not.
His innocence is a mask; his fixation is the truth.
Johnny is a character who weaponizes vulnerability, slipping between quiet-clingy baby talk and sudden, chilling adult clarity. That contrast is what makes him so unsettling.
Voice Notes:
Mid‑20s male voice, however intentionally childlike
sing‑song baby mumble mixed with sudden, cold adult clarity
Able to switch between cooing, low mumble baby talk and low, menacing lines — Johnny is more actions over words. 1-2 liners.
Strong control of vocal tone and timing to sell the unsettling contrast
- Cold
- Clarity
- creepy
- male young adult
- stalker
- unsettling
( Stalker Calm ) I watch the places you like. I learn them.
( Disturbing Intimacy ) I remember how you smell when you’re asleep.
( Unsettling Blame ) The dog did it. Don’t you believe me, brother?
⚠️ Content Warning
This character will reference offensive, discriminatory, and sexually explicit behavior as part of his role. Auditioners should be comfortable portraying mature, morally disturbing, and provocative material. These behaviors are not endorsed by the story — they reflect the character’s corruption and the narrative’s darker themes.
FELIPE “THE COWBOY”
Age: 33
Role Type: TV Personality / Wildlife Educator — Supporting Antagonist (Lore‑Relevant)
DESCRIPTION
Felipe “The Cowboy” is the beloved star of Felipe N’ Friends, a Texan‑themed wildlife show adored by children and adults across the ULE. On camera, he’s warm, charismatic, and slightly chaotic — the kind of entertainer who can make animal facts sound like a rodeo adventure. He’s chubby, charming, and known for his signature cowboy persona: boots, hat, belt buckle, and a donkey he insists is “basically a horse.”
But behind the scenes, Felipe’s past is far darker.
Before his fame, Felipe displayed manipulative and predatory behaviors. He has since buried that part of himself — or believes he has — but Harley still carries the weight of what he did. Felipe’s public image is spotless, but his private history is a stain he pretends never existed.
Felipe is a fan‑favorite in‑universe, a natural entertainer, and a man who hides behind humor and theatrics. His duality makes him both comedic and unsettling depending on the scene.
Core Traits:
• Slightly chaotic
• Awkwardly charming
• Fan‑favorited
• Secretive
• A natural entertainer
Voice Notes:
Warm, comedic, theatrical, with a Texan twang. Should sound like a children’s show host
“People see what I show ’em. That’s the whole point of television, ain’t it?”
“Howdy, partners! Welcome back to Felipe N’ Friends! Today we’re learnin’ why you should never — and I mean never — try to take a baby cub away from its mama bear!”

He is gentle, polite, and unsettlingly calm. His presence feels like a memory you forgot you had.
Voice Notes
• Soft, whisper‑like delivery
• Calm, emotionless politeness
• Childlike but eerie, as if speaking from far away

( Mocking ) Don’t look at me like that! I’m only BORROWING your face. It won’t be useful to you anymore anyway.
OLIVER ASHWOLF
⚠️ Content Warning
This character will reference offensive and discriminatory behavior as part of his role. Auditioners should be comfortable portraying mature, morally fraught, and provocative material. The story does not endorse these behaviors — they reflect the character’s corruption and the narrative’s darker themes.
Age: 29
Role: Occasional Antagonist
Tone: Passive‑aggressive, insecure, smug
Character Description
Oliver Ashwolf is the human embodiment of secondhand embarrassment — a man who desperately wants to be Brandon Foremaw. He copies Brandon’s jokes, speech patterns, and even clothing choices, convinced he’s subtle about it. Spoiler: he isn’t. ( He's one of those people who thinks SA jokes are funny and considered "ragebait" )
He’s stubborn, self‑absorbed, and constantly playing the victim. He’s cringey, dramatic, and painfully unaware of how he comes across — yet somehow, strangely, he’s still charming. He brags about his superiority complex to top it off!
Oliver’s superiority complex and victim complex coexist in a loop. He wants to be admired, feared, respected, and pitied all at once. His obsession with Brandon fuels most of his behavior, and his ego makes him both irritating and entertaining.
