Short animatic - The Life We Weave [song writer/Composer]
Project Overview
Hi! I’m currently working on a short 2–3 minute animated fantasy story for my YouTube/Instagram (you can find my work : _atanacia_ ).
The story follows a young girl from a race of silkborn creatures who live on a tree. They live only for a few days, weaving threads that preserve their memories. Through her eyes, the story explores time, memory, aging, death, and the beauty of leaving something behind.
It has fantasy- dreamy vibe. Makia (anime) as the inspiration.
I’m looking for a few people who would like to collaborate on the project, particularly for voice acting, sound design, music, and/or singing.
I’ll handle the story, storyboard, directing, drawing, animation, editing, and overall production myself. I can send the concept art and details privately by DM.
This is an unpaid personal project, but collaborators will be fully credited in the final video. We can also share the finished project and posts on social media, and you’re welcome to include your contribution in your personal portfolio/work examples.
The main thing I’m looking for is people who genuinely like the concept and would enjoy creating something together.

I’m looking for a female singer who would be interested in contributing a song to a short fantasy animatic for my personal YouTube channel.
I don’t have a formal musical background, so I’m very open to developing the song together with the people involved. If we find a composer or musician who would like to participate, we could work together on the music and lyrics and create something specifically for the animation.

I’m looking for someone who would like to collaborate on the music for a short fantasy animatic for my personal YouTube channel.
I’m quite open regarding the musical style. The main requirement is that the music should support the atmosphere and emotional themes of the animation.
The story takes place in a fantastical world built on a gigantic tree, inhabited by creatures who live very short lives and weave their memories into silk threads.
Musical direction
I’m mainly looking for instrumental music, although I’m open to experimentation.

Silver is a very young girl from a race of silckborn creatures who live on a gigantic tree. She is innocent and curious, quietly observing the world around her.
Her voice should feel soft, calm, and slightly dreamy, with a natural childlike innocence. She isn't overly cheerful or energetic. There is a quiet seriousness to her, but she doesn't fully understand the weight of the things she is talking about yet.

Hi! I’m an independent 2D artist working on a small personal animatic, and I’m looking for someone who would like to write the English lyrics for an original ballad like song.
A little about the story:
The story follows a young girl from a race of silk-making creatures who live on a gigantic tree. Their lives last only a few days, and they weave threads that preserve their memories. Through her eyes, the story explores time, memory, aging, death, and the beauty of leaving something behind.
The song will be the story and should feel like an old ballad or lyric song (I'm open about the style), something intimate and slightly melancholic.
I already have the story, concept and visual direction. The song will be created together with a small team of musicians, and afterwards I’ll create an animatic around it.
I’m looking for someone who can:
- Write original English lyrics
- Work with a specific story and atmosphere
- Create poetic, emotional lyrics rather than simply writing a generic song
