What is this Project:
This is a comic-dub of my favorite online comic, The Boy Who Fell by Star
The creation of this comic dub has been given approval by Star.
" The Boy Who Fell revolves around an innocent, softhearted and almost-spineless boy named Ren who suddenly finds himself in Hell after accidentally falling off a school rooftop. He is then forced to partake in a tournament full of powerful and vicious beings in order to attain his only way of going home: and all-powerful wish from the ruler of Hell himself.
As the story progresses, lines between allies and enemies are blurred, dark pasts are revealed. political issues come to light and all the while, Ren slowly realizes that in order to survive this journey, he might have to give up the very things that make him human. "
Who Am I:
I go by Imagined and Imaginary, and like many of you, I aim to make a living off voice-acting. For now, I'm hoping to get some experience in editing, managing, and directing, as well as voice acting. As such, I have chosen to take on the role of the main character in this dub, Ren, for selfish-experience based purposes. I currently run a youtube channel where I post gaming videos, and I haven't quite decided if I'll upload this series to that channel or if I'll create a new channel for the purposes of this project and any future endeavor I take on.
Requirements for Auditioning:
The requirements I have are minimal, and for the most part, I just want to have fun with this. That being said:
For Voice auditions, A microphone of sufficient quality is preferred. Try to keep background noise to a minimum and use any sort of equipment you have to reduce issues in your recordings. Don't add sound effects to your auditions, please.
For other roles, no experience is required, but please have something of your work to provide.
For long-standing roles, a Discord account and willingness to join a server are preferred.
Will there be payment?
Change of plans - I've decided to set aside a small budget for this project moving forward. It's not much, certainly not what I wish I could provide, but I felt weird expecting quality voice work with no payment. This is still a project I want to have fun with, but I also want it to be well made, and to be proud of it.
With that being said, I need to include a notification alongside this: Almost every single one of these roles are long term, with multiple appearances throughout the comic. The rate posted is for this casting call only, and each role will be assessed with each section of chapters that are made.
The amount for payment has been based on how many chapters they are in and the number of lines, with a cap of $20 due to budget reasons.

A majority of the characters that are in this batch of auditions are Long-term parts, with 4/5 of the character's in these chapters having prominent roles throughout the story. If you're auditioning for these roles, I hope you're willing to commit to the role, but if you do ever have to bow out after a set of chapters, you're welcome to. This is primarily for fun and for the experience.

Pafhelo Sorian is one of the two main characters, side by side with Ren. Someone who is willing to stick around is preferable for this role! She is a confident, self-proclaimed nomadic warrior on a quest to spread the glory of her family name. She becomes indebted to Ren early on and joins the Hell Tournament as his partner to repay that debt, and acts as his trainer. Endou Yuu is a fairly minor part, with their only starring chapter being chapter 00. I vaguely remember him in flashback sequences later on in the comic, or nightmare vision like moments where he might have more lines, but he's mostly absent. He's a Student that Ren meets on his first day at a new school, and who almost becomes Ren's first friend there, until an unfortunate fall.

Lord Devil is a recurring character in the comic, and one of the main antagonist. The sovereign ruler of the two Hells, he maintains a sunny and kindly disposition. In actuality, he is a cold, merciless, and ennui-afflicted. Most of his actions show a complete disregard for others and are motivated by self-interest. Ramia is heir to a long line of royal servers, and she loyally serves Lord Devil. She often admonishes him for his mischievous behavior, usually in vain, in an attempt to provide counsel. A stickler for adhering to the rules and maintaining tradition, Ramia is also more sympathetic and morally centered than her master; however, she will nevertheless obediently carry out any of the Devil's commands.

I think it would be great to get a music composer for this project, I think it would take it to the next level with the right composer. That being said, I don't have a lot of expectations, and for that, I'm going to leave the payment amount low, with the idea that we can discuss it at a later time.
