CURRENT PLOT
Superstar Academy, is a high school, dedicated to training and educating the next generation of “future Hollywood stars.” The children of popular celebrities attend there and it is rated the number one, global arts high school and beware, the competition is fierce. Within the students that attend this school is August, a fifteen year old singing sensation. She has quite the up and down life. And seems to be the queen of the school. However, her fame is threatened when a new girl named Hannah joins the school and August is afraid of disappointing her mother by losing the spotlight. Hannah, has some secrets as well and is eventually threatened by a certain someone from her past! Together, she and August along with their friends have to stop this threat, in order to pass their final exams in Superstar Academy!

August Taylor- August is the main character out of the entire series alongside Hannah. She is the younger sibling to her brother Ethan. She is very cautious with herself and others and is overall a very kind and caring person who doesn’t let the fame get to her head. However, pressure always seems to get to her due to her mother always overwork in her and making sure she is the best she can be. She can get very sensitive and emotional at times, but isn’t afraid to speak her mind. So when a new girl comes to the school, August is ready to protect herself and her place in the entertainment industry.

“(Speaking to Audience) If You’re Wondering who that is, that’s Christopher Dawson. He has one of the rarest talents in the whole school; Medical Chemistry. He trains in the medical profession while inventing new formulas and cure’s. Only a handful of students like that attend this school, they’re ridiculously good at what they do and wall of them walk out of here already crazy rich and successful.“
“(Discouraged/Slightly Upset) I know right?! Zoey the student council president says all acts involved in the festival are to have a meeting in the library to discuss how we’re going to handle this.”
“(Worried/Fearful) I tried calling him but he wouldn’t pick up! I’m starting to become really worried!”
Hannah Myers- Hannah is the new girl at Superstar Academy, she auditioned and successfully got accepted into the school. But there‘s a little secret about her. She is amazing at singing and her talent is beyond imaginable. She is kind, sweet, sensitive and passionate about what she does.

“(Concerned/Soft) Jorden, you will call your parents, right?”
“(Nervous/Shocked) Well it’s just that Ethan sounds really good! Maybe we could try and talk to him again…? Plus, I’m still new to this whole school thing.”
“(Positive) Maybe you should try calling home, see if he’s there!”
Teagan Lee- Teagan is a very compassionate yet serious person. She always knows how to cheer her friends up and shed some light on even the toughest situations. With her witty personality and fun sarcasm she always knows how to add a special spark to any room she enters. She runs a gaming channel and can get very competitive with her competition. She will do anything to protect her friends from anything that may come their way.

“(Semi Sarcastic; Shifting into Stern) If I were to do something that could possibly hurt another human being, which I never have. I would probably do it at the time when hardly anyone is around so~. At 3:15 PM, the time where mostly everyone has left or in their dorms.”
“(Instructing/Serious) We should split up, since the school has five buildings all connected, he could be anywhere. And because we’re in the dorm quarters right now, we are no where near where me and Levi saw him.”
“(Confident/Introducing Herself) The name’s Teagan Lee. Video gamer today, future Hollywood star tomorrow.”
Iris River- Iris is a competitive girl who is tough and serious about her work and her passion for art. She is always ready to create and work on new things. She can get very intense but at times, she has a soft side towards her friends.

“(Stern/Serious) We don’t come to play games, we come to win.”
”(Introducing/Mysterious) Call me Iris, I love making art, either on paper or digitally. Cassie wouldn’t stand a chance against me…”
“(Stern/Slightly Aggressive) Watch out Superstar Academy, Silhouette High is coming for you. And we can’t wait, for the new school year to start!”
Nathan Astor- Nathan is a very sweet, quiet and caring boy. He always hasn’t been one for talking, but when it comes to friends and sports he won’t hesitate to go all out. He always encourages himself and his friends. And he is very competitive, when it comes to a good old fashion school rivalry, he’s completely onboard.

“(Annoyed) We already know we’re better, do we really have to keep proving it?”
“(Persistent) Okay, but you ARE talented. You got into Silhouette High didn’t you? I‘m not being sarcastic!
Alex Zayne- Alex is a popular singer/songwriter who originally grew up in Las Vegas, but moved to California to focus on his studies. The teenager quickly made a name for himself and is always working. His personality can be very stern and uptight but when it comes to close friends he’ll be the chill person of the group. He’s that one guy that every girl has a crush on, but he rejects them. He won’t back down easily.

“(Confident) You know, maybe this little rivalry isn”t so bad. There’s nothing like a good scandal!”
“(Annoyed/Mad) URGH! You‘re so annoying! You’re all concerned with the why and the where and the when and the what of your story. But you have no clue how you’ll achieve it or WHO you’re going to become in the end. You have no real motivation… That’s what I hate most about you.”
“(Stern) Time is a thief, an enemy I wish to destroy but I can’t. It’s impossible. That’s why if we want to win, we have to use every trick up our sleeves.”
Melanie Emerson- Melanie is probably the only one in the group who has a soft spot for this whole school rivalry. She doesn’t completely want to do it, but will anyway. Melanie is a fashion genius and is often described as a ’streetwear queen.’ She always dresses to impress. Even as one of the younger members of the group, she know’s how to make her mark and put up a fight.

“(Soft) I brought you some water, you must hydrate. And try not to overwork yourself”
“(Stressed) Oh let’s see, I have eight completely different outfits to complete in three days and I barely have a rough sketch done, do I LOOK OKAY?!”
“(Calm/Confident) Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of this whole competition. But I think my biggest struggle is learning to be proud of my work, there’s a lot I want to accomplish and it’s hard to put myself out there. But it’s seriously making me a better designer and person everyday.”
Dimitri Hale- On the outside, Dimitri appears to be fully onboard with his friends. But on the inside he’ll do anything to keep peace. He cares a lot about his friends and their well-being. Having grown up in a small town, Dimitri hasn’t had it easy, he had a very rough start but has proven himself a worthy student. Who is courageous, brave, smart and caring.

Kyra Jackson- Kyra may appear to be one of the strongest of the team, being an Inventor and an engineer. However she’s not as tough as she appears, she gets sensitive easily and goes through mood swings. She is very outgoing and is by far the brains of the team, with her genius inventions, new ideas and STEM skills. Don’t underestimate her, despite her lack of courage.

“(Stressed/Tired/Weak) Life is but a walking shadow. No matter how hopelessly they struggle in the light, they always end up crawling back into the dark. Human life is so meaningless sometimes…”
Robin Bailey- Robin is a singer/songwriter whose talent is beyond imaginable. Her beauty and style is amazing and she is very passionate about what she does, just lacks confidence at times. She is ready to take her creativity to the next level, making friends, enemies and frienemies along the way. She always has an open mind, she might be nervous but she’s an optimist! But she can get very protective and daring at times. Willing to take any risks.

Kai Zhang- Kai grew up in China, he originally studied at Shanghai Arts Academy. Until he and his family moved to California. Since coming to a new area has been a huge adjustment, he has been completely thrown off his game. It has put a huge amount of stress on his shoulders and he can barely get by. When not around a group of people that he knows, he can get very shy, but that doesn’t stop him from perusing his dream. He is kind, sweet, sensitive and incredibly good at video games. He even develops his own games and is always working on coming up with new and original ideas to impress his family!

“(Stressed) You don’t get it.. this is my ONE SHOT, to prove to my parents that I belong here and that I’m better than Teagan. I can’t risk blowing this!!”
“(Stern) This isn’t a New York City broadway musical, when you put yourself out into the world, they don’t sing a song of praise about you. They judge and torment you.”
“(Sarcastic) Girls, don’t fight. But if you are gonna fight anyway, at least put on a show. Come on, entertain me!”
Justin Gray- Justin grew up in Malibu, so he is one for getting homesick. This only adds to his personality of being caring, sweet, kind and so much more. However, this new environment has also changed him, he’s grown a liking for Silhouette High and is ready to help them accomplish their goals. When asked to join the team, he hesitated at first but as eventually talked into it by his friend Melanie. The both are very close friends and share a lot of the same opinions.

“(Surprised) You’re kidding right?! Since when did Superstar Academy get a new student? They think they’re so~ great.”
“(Normal) Well I’m not exactly FROM this area, I was born and grew up in Malibu. I plan to move back once I graduate.”
“(Normal) Well I picked up singing as a hobby after I watched my elementary school talent show, I guess something in my mind just clicked and said “I wanna do something like that when I grow up.” And here I am.”
Headmistress Alexandra Lynn- (Can’t say too much about this character for spoiler reasons!) However, Alexandra comes off as very motivated and only wants to the best for her students. She will not hesitate to expel a failing student and make sure her school puts in it’s best work And everyone is pushed to their limit.
