Project Overview

Hi! This is a casting call for an English fandub of the Super Danganronpa 2.5 OVA named "Nagito Komaeda and the Destroyer of the World"! Because of the wide variety of characters that are present within the episode, I recognized the need to extend my casting call to the world for the best results. It's a single 25 minute episode, therefore it's a one-time project. I've only started the script recently so it'll take me a while to finish, but I'd like to gather my cast as soon as possible. The script is comprised of English translated subtitles from the original Japanese OVA, but I'll most likely be making a few small altercations to make it flow more smoothly. I'd like as much emotion and authenticity as possible when delivering lines and nothing monotone unless (on the rare occasion) that's how the line is being delivered. Lines will need to be sent via email once the project is being worked on, but I may make a discord for the cast and all involved once we get the ball rolling. Please use some kind of microphone (your earbud mic will work as long as there's no background noise) and please have a quiet workspace.   • Script Writer Cast!

    Hello all! This is an announcement to say that the role of script writer has gone to @castastropooks! For some reason the role seems to be glitching out on me and won't show me the auditions, but it's no big deal as of right now.

  • Recasting Peko Pekoyama and Searching for Script Writer

    Hey all! Lately our project hasn’t been too much in the works due to the script not getting done, and that’s entirely my own fault. I haven’t had much of the time or motivation to write lately and now I’ve got other deadlines coming up that I have to handle. I can’t deal with the script alone, and so I’m calling out to all writers to see if I could have someone out there help me! In addition to this, our voice of Peko recently left and we need to recast. ); I’m looking to have this become more of a summer project now, so there’s not really a rush, but I’d like to have everyone casted and the script written as soon as possible.     Hello all, once again! I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who auditioned and tried their very best! There were so many great auditions and so many tough decisions, so if you weren't cast, don't let it get you down! There's always next time. Just keep practicing!     Hey, all! I am incredibly pleased with the amount of auditions flowing in, and I just wanted to remind you all that the call closes Friday, January 5th, most likely around 10pm EST.
