Project Overview
Origins of Farendia is a miniseries that will coincide with Spirits of Farendia, a fantasy audio series on YouTube. (Above is the link to the series thus far!)
Farendia is a fantasy world where humans and human/ animal-like beings, known as 'feralites', fight alongside one another to drive back demons and beasts from their homes. In the current timeline, Rue, a young raven/ owl feralite from Willowveil, has been given a 'blessed' mark at birth which can enhance her magical abilities. After her village is attacked one day by a massive demon, her powers finally awaken out of rage and desperation. Despite the disapproval of her parents and the high elders, she is assisted by their noble, Fulwen, to travel to the capital of Lisilhar in order to better train and heighten her powers.
Origins of Farendia:
This story takes place 38 years prior to Rue's birth and awakening. Farendia has been at war now for decades after many believed the beast hordes had ceased and vanished. "Origins" focuses on the lore and backstory of characters Alma, Jemina, and Seigmund.
Alma has had to raise her daughter Jemina while her husband, Halastair, has been away at war with the capital's militia. One night, he returns home after many grueling months. However, this peaceful and welcoming stay will not last long.
If you are interested in auditioning for the project, I would first like to lay out a few rules:
Please, have a GOOD quality microphone! Little to no buzzing or static would be a plus!
You will need to create a Discord account if you have not done so already.

Halastair is one of the characters we are introduced to in Willowveil's backstory. He is Alma's husband and is 32 years of age. A skilled archer, Halastair has been away to war for months. One dark, stormy night, he comes home finally after a gruesome battle alongside his comrades with a demon horde. However, he must return to his regiment after a two-week period.

Hrafwen is a man of the noble bloodline of Ravens as well as Fulwen's grandfather. He grew up in the Northern bird clans of the Talonwych Fjords and was an esteemed member of the council under its chief. Years later, Hrafwen would have his grandson leave for Willowveil to train as a future noble by its elders in the current timeline.

Rosie is a good friend of Alma's from her youth. After Alma finds out she is pregnant with a second child, Rosie does everything she can to help Jemina take care of her mother. Rosie has two children, one of which attends the same lessons as Jemina.

Bastion was one of the high patriarchs that overlooked Willowveil when Alma was a young adult. He is known to be a bit boorish and has a goofy side. All of that aside, he is quite capable and skilled mentally and physically.

Hilde resides in Willowveil where she was born. Although quite young to be in the position, she was able to become a Matriarch due to her strong, philosophical connections and teachings. She even teaches the children at the grand hall. She would retire at a much younger age than most elders and is known to reside in the current timeline somewhere out west.
