Sonic The Hedgehog IDW (Motion Comic) - Fang the Hunter Spinoff
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION:
Hello, everyone; I'm back with yet another Casting Call for the Sonic IDW comic! I know you're sick of seeing these (To be honest I'm getting sick of making them -_-) But this one centers on an adventure outside of the mainline IDW continuity!

THE STORY:
The miniseries focuses on Fang the Hunter, Bark the Polar Bear, and Bean the Dynamite as they search for the rumored eighth Chaos Emerald. Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles "Tails" Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna do their best to figure out whether this "eighth emerald" is real, or if it's just a myth. Meanwhile Eggman's personal robo-militia, the Hard Boiled Heavies, plot behind the scenes.

Payment will be distributed after I receive the editor's finalized videos.
GUIDELINES:
Your audition must have good audio quality with little to no background noise. If it has noticeable background noise, it will not be considered and will be immediately dismissed. I do not mind you cleaning the audio on your side as long as the quality doesn't take a noticeable hit.
Meeting deadlines is important, but communicate with me if you cannot meet said deadline! We can work things out as long as there is communication.
Communication is key! If I can't get in touch with you after long periods of time consistently, then I will be
forced to let someone else take the role.DON'T SLATE!
Knowledge of the comics isn't a requirement, but it does help! Especially for the original IDW characters!
Occasionally, I may ask if we can get into a call to do lines with some live directing. This will not happen for every single batch of lines, but expect it to happen occasionally, especially if you're part of the main cast.
Please provide at least 2 takes per character! Preferably in AABBCC format.
If you choose to add an effect to your audition, leave in the unedited takes as well.
Must have Zelle, or Paypal, as these will be what I use to distribute payment.
Some roles will already have been filled by me and other actors! If the character isn't on the list, please don't DM me and ask if they're available.
If you don't have Discord, that's completely ok, but it does make things easier if you do.

DESC:
We're looking for video editors who know how to edit motion comics! You'll need to know how to mess around with the panels directly, such as isolating specific panels, adding black borders to panels, whitening out words, etc. I want the videos we put out to stand out visually, and I want the visual flair added to be just as much of a reason people want to tune in, on top of the amazing voice cast. Things like a bright light flashing if a laser is shot, the screen shaking when there's a heavy impact, engaging transitions between panels, etc. If you've got examples of work when you've edited things similar to what I just mentioned, you'll definitely be considered. Several people will be chosen for this role to make the visual editing process as efficient as possible. Since the IDW comics can be very dynamic and chaotic with its paneling, especially during action scenes, we're looking for people who know what they're doing when it comes to comic editing specifically. Each editor will get one issue.

All sound and music will be handled by me, your only focus will be the visuals aside from placing down the lines. And please, only audition if you're ready to communicate and adhere to the deadlines! If we go without contact for too long, you will be recast!

CHARACTER DESC:
Fang is a mischievous, crafty bounty hunter who tries hard to be cool and in control, and tries to bolster his strength using gadgets, traps, and his popgun, but he is a coward who flees when his plans backfire on him, which tends to happen due to his bad luck and arrogance.

Knuckles is naturally independent, wild, hot-blooded, tough, and a loner. Knuckles is a heroic, brave, kind-hearted, and selfless soul despite being a silent loner. In terms of voice we're looking for something similar to Bill Wise's performance in the OVA!

CHARACTER DESC:
Compared to the other Hard Boiled Heavies, the Heavy King gives off the impression of a brooding, stone-cold authority figure, completely opposite compared to the flamboyant members of his troop. Strict and serious, he rules his troop with an iron fist. This tends to make his more comedic moments stand out.

(Sinister) I upgraded the Heavy Wing's engine with the gem, allowing it to strike anywhere and any time. The stress testing is nearly complete...then comes the *conquest*.

CHARACTER DESC:
The Heavy Shinobi is said to have gotten a couple of screws loose after receiving newfound power from the Phantom Ruby. Despite this, he, being the ninja of his troop, is elegant and elusive, only striking at the most opportune time.

Open to interpretation on the voice here! He only has one line in this, so your audition may be used in the final product.

CHARACTER DESC:
The Heavy Gunner is, like most of the Hard Boiled Heavies, an oddball. The Heavy Gunner is considered a "loose cannon" and is too erratic for his own good. Due to this destructive behavior, he causes unintentional damage to property and anyone standing in his way.

Despite her insanity, however, she is also shown to be loyal to her Hard Boiled Heavy compatriots. Be sure to ham it up for her lines since her whole thing is being a performer!
