Project Overview

One day, some strange metallic man that resembles the famous Mushroom Hero invades the Mushroom Kingdom, planning to take it over for himself. Mario tries to fight this In order to save the Kingdom, but something happens after he takes a tragic loss: the Metal Mario performs a body switch! Now in the villain's body, Mario must go on a new adventure full of friendships, plot twists, betrayals, and more in order to get his original form back and save the Mushroom Kingdom from this Metal Menace.

  • New Roles Added

    Hello everyone! We have made some great choices with selecting some of the roles since this project has been open. However, out of the roles currently picked, not everyone has had their time to shine. So, I've added 4 more characters to audition for. All of these characters are planned to have a short appearance in Episode 1, and then appear later on down the series to help out Mario & Friends along the way. These characters are: - Princess Peach - Bowser - Prince Dreambert - King Peasley You are free to audition for whichever characters you may feel like, and as the series continues on, I'll likely add more characters for people to audition for. So to get started completely on recording lines Episode 1, we will still need VAs for: - Toad - Tedd - The 4 Aforementioned Characters - Toad Extras Hopefully we can continue to grow the team so we can get this project underway. Our current team is highly anticipating working on this project, and hopefully you may have a chance to join us as well! Until then, happy auditioning!

  • (serious, heroic) “You mean you have never heard of me? I’m THE Mario! The fabled hero of the Mushroom Kingdom!”

  • (pained) “I’ll be fine… if it’s in the protection of the kingdom, then these wounds were absolutely worth it.”

The main antagonist. Metal Mario should sound like Mario, except if he was a menacing, cocky, and rude tyrant. When the switch occurs, his voice will sound a bit lighter.

  • (surprised) “Woah! For some simple mushrooms, they got quite the decor. I’m loving the look around here. Makes me almost feel bad for having to take it over.”

  • (angry) “WHAT DID I TELL Y’ALL?! I AM THE EMPEROR HERE, SO ADDRESS ME BY THAT!”

  • (cocky) *evil laugh* “You think you still have a shot? Look at you, you’ve obviously blown your shot, and yet you believe it still exists?”

Porter is an original character to the story. I'd imagine him sounding kind of like Garcello from Smoke 'Em Out Struggle, but as long as he sounds like a chill smoker guy with a sense of justice, it works.

  • (nonchalant) “Name’s Porter. I was locked up here for drug dealing. Wasn’t anything illegal, just some cigarettes. I guess they really got something against smoking here.”

  • (curious) “Interesting… wonder why they’re still guards then. No wonder the princess gets captured every so often.”

  • (serious) "I can tell by the way he presents himself, the way he speaks. If he was truly this ruthless Metal Whatzit Guy, he likely would have beaten you all without a second thought."

The leader of the Koopa Krooks. Orbi should sound like a cocky and confident, yet reckless leader. His voice also sounds somewhat tough and gruff, but not enough to strike fear into the enemy's heart.

  • (confident) “Heh, either word got out quickly or you showed up at the wrong place at the wrong time, ol’ Mushroom Hero.”

  • (pained) “No, Loum. Take Jewel and get out of here. If anything, I want to go out knowing you two are safe!”

  • (breaking down) The way it’s going, we’re the lowest level squad of the Koopa Krooks! We had to make so many side hustles to even stay in this organization! We can barely ever succeed in our regular missions!

The youngest member in the Koopa Krooks squad. Jewel should sound innocent and act like they're trying to fit into the group, with how cocky the other too act, but also act a bit hot-headed.

  • (angry) “Grr… stop dodging, will you?!”

Basically an aged-up Prince Peasley from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. He should sound like humble royalty, serious when needed.

BTW, the chuckle should sound similar to his laughing voice clip from Superstar Saga.
