The Mushroom Hero. He should sound like Mario as if he was a brave soul who's always ready to charge into action to protect the Mushroom Kingdom, even if he feels that he's gonna die for it.

  • (serious, heroic) “You mean you have never heard of me? I’m THE Mario! The fabled hero of the Mushroom Kingdom!”

  • (pained) “I’ll be fine… if it’s in the protection of the kingdom, then these wounds were absolutely worth it.”

I will be honest, I'd recommend you place an audition for Metal Mario. The audition sounds like it has this dark, deceptive vibe to it, which fits Metal Mario in this series well.
