Skyrim Revoiced

Skyrim Revoiced

Project Overview

What is Skyrim Revoiced?

Skyrim Revoiced is a fanmade mod for the roleplaying game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Despite the game’s rich and expansive world, the voice acting often lacks variety, with a single voice actor voicing as many as 50 different NPCs. Therefore, I would like to gather a group of talented voice actors to revoice some of the characters in the game, similar to what was done in the Brave New World mod for the game Fallout: New Vegas.

Roles

The project will initially feature 7 roles, covering a total of 42 NPCs, with plans to expand and include additional roles in the future.

Voice actors will be assigned roughly six characters each, with a script of approximately 600 to 800 lines, with a maximum of 150 characters per line. The script will also include dialogue from other mods to maintain compatibility.

Voice actors will be paid a flat rate of $100, with the possibility of additional compensation depending on whether the mod generates revenue through donations.

Please provide high quality audio in your audition. Try to avoid any reverb, background noise, etc.

Deadlines

There is no set deadline. The deadline listed in the information tab above is only there to comply with CCC’s rules and may be extended if needed. Cast voice actors are also not bound by a strict deadline and may submit their recordings at their own pace, within a reasonable timeframe, of course.

If your application is successful, you will receive a private message containing my Discord contact details for further communication.

I would also like to mention that this project will not use any form of AI and any voice recordings submitted will not be used for AI training, cloning, or synthesis under any circumstances. I will be providing a NAVA AI rider, an addendum that protects voice actors from AI, to the voice actors. Though I have previously dabbled in using AI in mods, I would much prefer to work with real voice actors instead, as AI can never replace true art and genuine talent.

  • When the Stormcloaks took Solitude, I thought for sure things would slow down. But they keep me just as busy as the Imperials. (resigned, slightly weary)

  • All that ever mattered was what was best for Morthal. Leaving it in Ulfric's hands... It's not right. (bitter, troubled)

  • Drink up, my boy! Drink to those who have fallen! May their souls find their way to Sovngarde! (cheerful)

  • Jarl wants it to look like an ancient blade. High Queen Freydis ruled over Windhelm in the Second Era, and her sword was legendary. Getting the real sword would be even better than making a copy, but no one wants to risk getting it from its resting place

  • Damn Forsworn. Only a matter of time before they hit here, too (irritated, anxious)

  • Ah, hello there, traveler. Come to the Nightgate for food or lodging? (welcoming a guest at the inn)

  • If you're wondering why they call me Vipir the Fleet, watch me outrun the town guard sometime. (confident, playful)

  • Look around you. Winterhold is in this state because of those damned mages. They sit up there in their tower, doing gods-know-what, and who watches over them? The guards don't even dare go up there unless they've no choice. (bitter, angry, frustrated)

  • If Ulfric had his way, anyone who wasn't a Nord would be shipped right out of Skyrim. (bitter, angry)

  • Stormcloaks or Imperials. Either way, all they want is everything for free and you to lick their boots.

  • Bit of advice, folks here don't care for magic or those that use it. If you're intent on it, check at the College up in Winterhold. Either that or go see the Jarl's court wizard.

  • Once the sun goes down, it's just me and the dogs. They keep me warm, and don't talk too much.

  • At last! I have searched for this drum for 20 years. The college treasury is a bit thin right now. But I can show you some tricks I learned from my days with the army.

  • Forsworn came in the night. Killed everyone. Gat and I are the only ones who escaped. Hopefully Skaggi will send word to the Jarl and something will be done.

  • Is something wrong. 'Is something wrong?' he asks. Yes, something is bloody well wrong! Or maybe you missed the demented little man in the jester's garb, down by the road? Goes by the name of Cicero? Crazy fool's asked me to fix his broken wagon wheel five times. He won't take no for an answer. Why can't he just leave us alone?
