Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers '96 is the unofficial fourth season of Mighty Morphin' never told. A proper finale for the original "six teenagers with attitude," creatively revamped from visor-to-morpher by a fresh, bold, and totally morphinominal vision.
In other words, the X-Men '97 of Audio Dramas.

The goal behind MMPR '96 is to create a professional cinematic audio drama with an innovative story and mature tone that cherry-picks concepts and canon from the series various incarnations, all infused by my own creative re-interpretations of the material. A complete deconstruction of the world and its characters, merged with deep, thematic symbolism and complex character arcs that span across an epic saga.
MMPR '96 is produced and written exclusively by me, with licensed music & sound effects from Boom Library, Soundmorph, Krotos Studio, Bluezone Corporation, & Epidemic Sound. It baffled me what Trini possibly liked about her so much. Every time I'd ask, she'd just laugh and say, "Well, she might be a hotter mess than ice cream on a summer's sidewalk...but when she believes in something, she doesn't quit--just like you."
Originally an Eltarian living in exile, Zordon was reborn on Earth as a transcendent neural AI that has served as the Power Rangers guiding hand in their secret war against the Eltarian Emperor Lord Zedd and his disavowed Empress, Rita.

I'm open to interpretation for the voice, but Heisenberg-like gravitas is what my ideal is for it. "Classic Zordon" doesn't fit "96's tone.
