SilentKnight's Batman Gotham Guardian (MINECRAFT MACHINIMA)
Project Overview
Taking place nearly two and a half years after the first appearance of the masked vigilante known as the Batman and following the Dark Knight’s defeat of Gotham's most notorious riddle obsessed serial killer Edward Nashton, the city has finally begun to find some sense of normalcy and safety thanks to The Batman. As Bruce Wayne he aids and funds his old friend and Gotham District Attorney Harvey Dent’s mayoral campaign as Dent vows to put an end to the current Mayor Oswald Cobblepot’s corruption and criminal dealings. As Batman he works to keep the streets clean from any crime big or small. But all this comes to a head when a smear of recent murders begin popping up, leading the Caped Crusader on a wild goose chase to find the culprit, but Batman is shocked when he discovers that these murders may be connected to the lies and sins hidden in the shadows of the Wayne Family’s past. The overall goal of this series is to tell a suspense filled crime thriller with the added dark and gritty elements that is present in many Batman stories. We’ll see Batman and the supporting cast be put through the ringer both physically and mentally as they further farther and farther down the rabbit hole which will bring them to an end point that reveals a grim truth.
WARNING
This series is rated M for Mature. This means that this series will touch on more dark and mature themes including but not limited to; Excessive Swearing, Violence, Murder, Torture, Abuse, Gore, Drug Use, and Mutilation.
However this series WILL NOT include topics or portrayals of; Sex, Sexual Assault, Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, or Transphobia as these topics are far too offensive and uncomfortable to be put into a Minecraft Machinima.

We are looking for all kinds of Voice Actors, Writers, Set Builders, Video Editors, Skin Makers, and people capable of filming with Blockbuster. This project does contain excessive swearing, gore, and has many disturbing story elements. If that is a problem for you, I'd recommend you not to audition.

Bio: Alfred Pennyworth is a Vietnam War Veteran originally from England and served as a field medic. He is also family friends with Thomas Wayne who would request Alfred come to Gotham to act as head of security for the Wayne Family during Thamos’ Mayoral campaign. But the night that Thomas and his wife Martha were murdered in Crime Alley, Thomas’ mayoral campaign fell soon after and left their son Bruce an orphan. Alfred in honor of his old friend took it upon himself to raise and care for Bruce as if he were his own. When Bruce vowed to launch a war on Gothams crime, Alfred would act as Bruce’s first teacher, training him in the ways of basic combat and medical skills before Bruce would leave Gotham in order to travel the world and further his training. By day Alfred works as Head of Security at Wayne Enterprises and is the Personal Body Guard of Bruce Wayne and by night is The Batman’s number 1 Soldier, monitoring from the batcomputer and being the one to tend to his surrogate son’s wounds. Alfred is a strong believer in Bruce's mission but is not above questioning Bruce’s methods if he deems it necessary. Alfred is the one to keep Bruce grounded and the one to remind him that his life extends beyond just Batman and that they’re more ways of doing good for Gotham. Alfred is grizzled and cut throat but also wise and supportive offering advice anywhere he can.- english

Bio: Harvey Dent is Gotham’s District Attorney and White Knight. He is charming and charismatic while also remaining kind, respectful, optimistic, brave, and honest. He has a deep care and desire to help Gotham and believes in a better tomorrow for the city and wants to clean up the city by becoming its new mayor. With the funding from his Best Friend Bruce Wayne, Harvey strives to fight tooth and nails to create a safer Gotham that's free from crime and corruption. Harvey is running against Gotham’s current Mayor Oswald Cobblepot and is dedicated to taking him down and washing away the corruption that Cobblepot has spread into the city.

Bio: Oswald Cobblepot was born into a wealthy but corrupt family. A lifestyle that he would eventually adopt as he came into his adult years. Running all kinds of criminal operations Cobblepot was given the nickname Penguin due to his slight limp mirroring that of a penguin waddle. Cobblepot eventually grew his empire into a legitimate business in the form of a night club which he called the Iceberg Lounge while still running his criminal operations on the side. But all this wasn’t good enough for Cobblepot and he wanted more power and control over the city of Gotham. Cobblepot would eventually run for the city's mayor and win due to his only competition Thomas Wayne having been murdered in Crime Alley alongside his wife Martha in a mugging. Since then Cobblepot has used his various connections and corrupt contacts to keep himself in office for the past 19 years. In the present day with the city more corrupt than ever, Cobblepot is facing another challenge with keeping his position as mayor in the form of District Attorney Harvey Dent who is running a campaign against the Corrupt Mayor. On top of that Cobblepot has found himself in a much heated gang war with Carmine Falcone, another mob boss in Gotham after the defeat of The Riddler. And to top it all off, Cobblepot finds his criminal operations being thwarted by the vigilante Batman.- english

Bio: Carmine Falcone is Gotham’s oldest and most notorious crime boss and has people all over the city under his thumb. He considers himself to be a family friend of the Wayne Family after Thomas Wayne saved his life after a fatal gunshot that would’ve killed Falcone if not for Thomas’ medical expertise. As such Falcone felt he owed the Waynes and so they were left alone by Falcone and his gang. Years went on and Carmine would continue to build his empire through corruption and fear adopting the name The Roman. Falcone, while a corrupt man is not above reason and believes himself to be Gotham’s true savior adopting the philosophy that the ends justify the means and similar to others believes that the city’s current mayor, Oswald Cobblepot is the one responsible. As such a massive gang war has erupted in the wake of the Riddler’s defeat as both The Roman and The Penguin attempt to fight for control of Gotham. But Falcone has made a deal with an unlikely partner in hopes of getting closer to his goal of getting rid of Penguin and gaining full control over the city once more.- english

Bio: Commissioner of the GCPD Peter Grogan is the successor to the late Gillian Loeb, but despite wanting to make some meaningful changes to the department and Gotham as a whole, much like his predecessor, Grogan would fall to corruption. Acting as Mayor Oswald Cobblepot’s police contact, Grogan has been leading the police force on a mission to find anything against the mob boss Carmine Falcone as Falcone and Cobblepot find themselves in a gang war. Grogan being a family man and out of concern for their safety from Cobblepot follows the mayor's orders without question. Cobblepot has also given Grogan strict orders to apprehend the vigilante Batman.

Bio: Lucius Fox was the former head of Wayne Tech’s shutdown R.N.D. division and now acts as the back up CEO of Wayne Enterprises employed by Bruce Wayne himself in order to handle things around the company while Bruce devotes his time to his duty as Batman. Lucius, fully aware of Batman’s true identity behind the scenes uses the remaining and unfinished projects from the R.N.D. department in order to help the Dark Knight in his war on crime helping to create a good portion of Batman’s arsenal including his suit and grapple. Lucius is one of Batman’s most trusted allies and an essential piece of Batman's mission. Despite the fact that Lucius is well aware of Bruce's double life, he’ll never outright say anything relating to Batman. He’s sarcastic and charming but also brilliant. There's no piece of tech that he can’t master.

Bio: Professor Hugo Strange is the head doctor at The Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane well known for its dark past of murder and insanity. Under Strange’s care, patients are treated fairly and doctors and staff work day in and day out to make sure patients receive the best help they can. At least that’s the impression Strange would have one believe. Patients are treated with mandatory shock therapy, constantly beaten and abused by Arkham staff, and sometimes used as guinea pigs for Professor Strange's twisted experiments which he refers to as “Therapy Sessions”. Through this Strange tries to discover the true meaning behind human impulse and insanity, similar to the Asylum’s founder Amadeus Arkham who eventually went insane and became an inmate in the asylum he founded. In his research Strange has developed a special drug that combines the highly dangerous psychoactive agent known as Amanita Muscaria with a specially developed chemicals to create a drug that Strange refers to as “Other World”. The goal of this drug is to make the victim appear insane so that the courts will deem them insane and sentence them to Arkham where Strange will use them to test his drug further. Hugo has even made a side hustle by working with Gotham’s mayor Oswald Cobblepot to distribute Other World to the streets of Gotham in the hopes more people will fall victim to it and be committed to Arkham. While not much of a physical threat Hugo Strange is a cold blooded monster and is feared by nearly every inmate in Arkham.

Bio: Doctor Harleen Quinzel often referred to as Harley Quinn by her peers is a young and patient psychiatrist at the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane. She is empathetic with her patients and is determined to help them even hosting group sessions and sometimes game nights with some of the inmates. Despite her patient demeanor she is often scolded by her fellow doctors and lead doctor Hugo Strange for being too compassionate and empathetic with the inmates, some even believing that Harleen is so empathetic to the point where she’s beginning to believe and feed into the inmates’ delusions. Trying to prove and assure her peers of her stable mental state, Harleen takes on more and more patients. Harleen, while the most reasonable and honest doctor in Arkham, is very protective of her patients and is always trying to prove herself as a sane individual and competent doctor.
