Bio: Alfred Pennyworth is a Vietnam War Veteran originally from England and served as a field medic. He is also family friends with Thomas Wayne who would request Alfred come to Gotham to act as head of security for the Wayne Family during Thamos’ Mayoral campaign. But the night that Thomas and his wife Martha were murdered in Crime Alley, Thomas’ mayoral campaign fell soon after and left their son Bruce an orphan. Alfred in honor of his old friend took it upon himself to raise and care for Bruce as if he were his own. When Bruce vowed to launch a war on Gothams crime, Alfred would act as Bruce’s first teacher, training him in the ways of basic combat and medical skills before Bruce would leave Gotham in order to travel the world and further his training. By day Alfred works as Head of Security at Wayne Enterprises and is the Personal Body Guard of Bruce Wayne and by night is The Batman’s number 1 Soldier, monitoring from the batcomputer and being the one to tend to his surrogate son’s wounds. Alfred is a strong believer in Bruce's mission but is not above questioning Bruce’s methods if he deems it necessary. Alfred is the one to keep Bruce grounded and the one to remind him that his life extends beyond just Batman and that they’re more ways of doing good for Gotham. Alfred is grizzled and cut throat but also wise and supportive offering advice anywhere he can.
