Seven Deadly Sins In A Nutshell Season 2
Project Overview
This is going to be an abridged short that will cover all of Seven Deadly Sins, covering season 2- Revival Of The Commandments. Season 3 (once its run has been completed) and the film will be abridged in the future, so you might, if you get a part, be voicing your character for some time. Don’t worry, though! I only have a few things that I want you to do if you get the part
-Have a good microphone. This is probably the most important rule. I’m not too fussy about makes, shapes or set ups (as I’m not an expert in knowing what mix is good or not), but please PLEASE make sure you’re not peaking and keep background noise to a minimum. Mic quality could be the deciding factor in whether or not you get a part.
-Have Discord, so i can contact you. You don’t have to say in your audition if you do have discord or not, but if I send you a server link, I expect you to join. I really don’t want to direct you through email or Skype or ccc, cos that’ll suck and it makes everything more complicated. If you don’t have discord, I might think twice about casting you, so get discord. It’s free.
-Be prepared to be in it for the long term, as season 3 (when the season has ended) and the film will also be parodied in the future. This will mostly be relavent to the people playing commandments and sins, since no holy knights show up in the film and the commandments are the antagonists. Holy knights will most likely be in season 3 (I haven’t read the manga, but it’s a safe bet they do)
-Be accepting of any changes I want you to make when handing in lines
-Check pronunciation of words before recording your audition. I’m not going to hold a slip up when saying an alliterated line, but please check how words are pronounced.

Like Jericho, she didn’t have any lines in season 1 (but moving forward, she will). In terms of voice, I want a cocky, sly and confident voice, like Black Cat from Spider-Man or Lisa Lisa from Jojo. I recommend watching some dubbed clips of her, since that is the gold standard here. Or, on the other hand, you can come up with your own version, as long as it fits what I’m looking for
Escanor, the sin of pride. You haven’t aged a day since we last met. I assume your power of the sun is still working and that you can make yourself buff at will?
This is one of my powers, ‘Absolute Cancel”. It cancels everything. Absolutely.
You may find that a man like Ban or Gowther to be easy to defeat, but I am a different story. I am Merlin, the sin of gluttony and a magic user of the highest tier. I will make it that you regret crossing me or my allies.
You know who he is, don’t kid yourself. Praise the sun.
In terms of voice, I’m looking for something similar to the dubbed voice, that being something deep, masculine and intimidating., but somewhat enjoying what he’s doing. Don’t yell when auditioning, since Escanor doesn’t in the show and it really doesn’t fit him. However, for his skinny form, I’m looking for a higher pitch than his normal deep, commanding voice. I want to hear someone who’s timid, meek and cowardly (but not Morty). Again, look at the dub for inspiration. Also, remember to say ‘yeet’ in a serious manner. It’s a joke in the script, you’ll see.

(Skinny form, timid) Oh my, Merlin. It’s been a while since we have seen each other! Ten years to be exact!
Estarossa is that guy Escanor burns to a crisp, yet he doesn't die. Since he reminds me of DIO (and his fight with Escanor in the current script have for the video is a joke on the Jotaro/Dio fight), I'm looking for something close to Patrick Seitz's Dio voice from the Jojo dub. Failing that, give me a deep, sinister British voice (preferably a posh accent, as opposed to cockney or Yorshire).
Oh? You're approaching me? Instead of running away, you're going to fight? Welp, too bad! You can't! You're now paralysed and THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOU-What's an Escanor?
Before you ask, no, I am not an adult Meiodas with grey hair. I may look really similar, but I, Estarossa, am not Meliodas!
*Terrified screaming*
Zeldris is a supporting character here, but will become more prevalent in future videos (mainly the season 3 one, as he isn’t in the movie). For the voice, I want a pseudo-Meliodas. I’m not asking for you to listen to the parody’s Meliodas, but to use a voice that you think fits Meliodas and add some sinister vibes to it, since he’s evil
(Sinister and intimidating) We are the 10 commandments, the mightiest warriors of the demon clan. All that oppose us shall fall!
(Frantic, scared, panicked) Who the hell is Escanor? What’s a cruel sun? Did that guy just hurl a fireball at us?! What the fuck?!
(Annoyed) For the last time, I am not Meliodas with a black wig! For god sake!
Jericho didn’t have any lines in the first parody (mostly because I forgot she existed until I rewatched the show a couple of weeks ago), but she has a few in this video and will most likely have lines in future videos (as season 3 will have more of her. I think). In terms of voice, I’m not looking for anything specific. You can take inspiration from the dub, sub or 7 deadly slaps and make her Scottish. I really don’t mind!
(Serious) I regret nothing. It doesn't matter whether the strength came from myself or from somewhere else! Power is power!! I'm going to defeat the Seven Deadly Sins and make a name for myself, and become a higher-ranked Holy Knight than my brother...and make him take back everything he said about how I'll never be a holy knight because I'm a woman...!!

For his voice, I want something similar to the dub. Failing that, go for what you feels right. I want an intimidating voice that drips with malice, but is sophisticated and intelligent (as he’s a relatively clever bloke).

Ok, just to catch you up. I was part of the coop to overthrow the king and bring in the demon realm in season 1, but turned good and died fighting Hendrickson. However, I’m actually evil and possessed by a demon and was the real mastermind behind season 1s events and not Hendrickson. You got all that?
Sup, I’m the villain. I killed Gillthunders dad, framed you and now want to rule the world as a demon!

Bans lover or kings sister. Nobody cares about the latter, so let’s just stick with the former.
Elaine died and gave Ban immortality via the fountain of youth. In season 2, she returns as a reanimated corpse that dies again offscreen in the final episode of season 2. She also kisses Ban in the 2nd or 3rd opening of season 2 which is weird to see as she looks 10 and Ban looks 30. Ew.
In terms of voice, I want something close to the dub of her. Failing that, do your best loli voice that isn’t too high pitched and painful to hear. Please. I have delicate eardrums.

Remember Gloxinia? He puts on a fighting festival in the middle of the season out of seemingly nowhere and makes the arc kinda boring. The lines given for this audition are the ones that sum up that arc in the actual script, minus Escanor, Arthur and Meliodas lines.
I'm not picky about the voice for him. Just make him sound fairy-like (or...pixey-like or...whatever) with some malice in his voice to show he's not a nice guy.

Drole: And then, when they're all in the same place, we’ll kill them?

Gloxinia: This is a Shonen action show. We need at least one tournament arc per season.
Drole: Well, I still think it’s dumb

Drole is pretty cool. That's it. I have no funny comment for him. I really like him.
As Drole is a pretty big guy (for you), I want to hear a pretty deep voice. Not too deep that saying his lines becomes slow and cathartic (he's not the Hulk or Tarkus). Think Escanor, but he sounds bored

Ah Galand. He looks like a holy knight, but is also a soul eating demon. What's not to love?! In terms of voice, I want something close to the dub, as I think the dub for him is great. If you want to add an effect to make it sound like your voice is coming out of a suit of armour, be my guest, I'm not bothered!

Petrona will have a very small role in the video, with Very few lines and even less screen time. However, she’s in the season and is a pivotal character (and she may be in season 3, I have no clue, I’m not caught up with the manga at all). In terms of voice, I’m looking for a strong, warrior voice, akin to Wonder Woman or Lady Sif from Thor.
I am Petrona of the giant clan! In my prime, I was a powerful warrior. But now...I prefer the peaceful life, with my husband and human children. Don’t ask how that works out.
Voice will deviate from background character to background character. Give me a few voices reading a few lines.
Something you think would fit
(Meliodas has the most lines, so take that into consideration when auditioning. I am looking for a chirpy, upbeat voice, like Papenbrooks English dub voice. I don’t want it spot on, but something similar.)
(Happy) Welcome to the Boar Hat! We serve drinks, our staff consist of barely clothed women and our food is awful! Enjoy!
(Serious) Call me short again! I dare you! I double dare you motherfucker!
(A very sarcastic voice. A lot of his lines are very jokey and mocking, so I want to hear that come through here)
Y’know, I’m basically Deadpool. But cooler. And hotter. And without cancer.

(Snorts and laughs)
(Theres a running joke that Diane wants to destroy humanity, a nod to Attack On Titan. However, when she talks about ending humanity, she says it with a smile and acts cheery, despite her threat to end the human race)

I want 3 voices, one for when he’s the tournament announcer (a Mickey Mouse-ish voice if possible), one for when he looks like an old warrior (a posh, old and deep british accent) and a voice for his pixie form. Go wild with the pixie voice.
(Tournament announcer): Welcome to the fighting games! If you win, you get a massive hammer! Hot damn!
(Old warrior, like the picture): King, I’m going to gut you like a fish. You thought I’d say something funny, didn’t you?! Well you’re wrong!
