Scourge: Eternal Blackout Dub Issues 2-Present

Project Overview

Scourge the Hedgehog and the Destructix has taken on a new mission from Dr. Finitevus to retrieve an item from Dr. Kintobor's lab! However, he gets a lot more than he bargained for when he encounters something both familiar and mysterious in the depths of the lab below...

We are looking to dub this brilliant story by Sukajisplats from issue 2 and onwards! But for that, we need help! Come on by and submit your auditions for a chance to join with a brilliant cast and crew as we move to bring this story to life!

BUT BEFORE YOU EVEN CONSIDER AUDITIONING FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!

Please read the rules below:

For Voice Actors

  1. Read each description carefully.

  2. USB or XLR mics only! No phone mics, computer mics, headsets, or anything of that nature. Instant disqualification if you do.

  3. Do not, repeat, Do not slate your auditions! There is no need for that.

  4. Clear speech is required. No slurring, tripping, fumbling on lines.

  5. Your room tone must be good. No echoes, bg noise, etc.

  6. I do not accept demo reels or character samplers as an audition. You either take the time to record the audition lines or you don't audition at all.

  7. Three takes per line in an AAA BBB CCC format.

  8. Discord is recommended, but not required. Discord is what myself and the creator of the comic series (Sukajisplats) will be using to communicate with the cast, receive lines, etc.

  9. There is language in this comic, but I will be editing out a lot of it. The furthest I will allow is "damn" and "hell".

  10. Have fun! Become the character!

For Video Editors

  1. Submit your best work. I will not accept half-baked efforts.

  2. All submitted works must be easy to access for proper evaluations. Google Drive Links, YT links, and direct upload on CCC is acceptable.

  3. Give a brief description of what programs you use, how long you've been video editing, and what we can expect of you.

  4. I expect all of the people auditioning for this role to be professional and communitive with myself and the creator. Same with the Voice Actors.

  5. Link to a professional website is not required, but it looks good on an audition!

  6. Have fun!

  • Callback Situation

    Hello!

    Auditions have been reviewed, and if you've been paying attention, we casted a few already! However, we are having difficulty choosing on a few roles, so we're hosting callbacks on the auditions we really like. If you're one of the people we choose, look out for a DM next week, as one of us (who may not be Ultimate) will be traveling over the weekend!

    We are also still looking for video editors, so please send anyone capable of comic dub editing (preferably with experience) our way!

Scourge is your typical two-faced slug, except he's a hedgehog. He cares about only two things: himself and revenge against Sonic (and maybe Fiona, his girlfriend). We find him and his crew right after they break out of the multiverse prison to find themselves taking on another job for an unlikely client...


As Scourge is a comic character, he has no canon voice. However, I like for him to have a similar tone like Sonic the Hedgehog's, yet more evil as Scourge is just another variant of Sonic.


WARNING: Scourge does swear in the comic, but I will censor him, so don't worry about having to say swear words lol.

Fiona Fox is the righthand gal of Scourge as well as his girlfriend. Your definition of a "BA girl", if you will. She is bad, she is cold, and she loves to be evil. She doesn't have a big role in this comic, but she serves primarily as helping Scourge scout and directing the Destructix on their dirty deeds.


For Fiona's voice, I don't want anything overly girly. She's a bad girl, and those kind of women kick butt. Channel that kind of energy. A good reference is anything that Gina Carano is in XD

Sergeant Simian is the brawn of the group. Serving in the past as second-in-command to Mammoth Mogul, he has since joined ranks with Scourge as a member of the Destructix.


Minor role. I imagine a deep voice for him. I'm open to anything with that, really.

Flying Frog is the goofball of the Destructix, and his voice should reflect that personality. He is mentally insane and will often speak in rhyme, but because of this, he appears as the least malevolent of the group. Minor role. Any take is welcome for him, as long as you sound deranged.

The aerial scout and third fastest of the Destructix after Scourge and Lightning Lynx, former Babylon Rouge Predator Hawk tends to keep his opinions separate from his current duties. A cold sort of personality, he is the most unpredictable of the group, the "wild card" if you will. Minor role. Any slant for him is acceptable.

The Anti Counterpart to Bunnie Rabbot, Buns was once involved romantically with Scourge, only to seek revenge after she found out he was unfaithful to their relationship with multiple women. Once she was diagnosed with NIDS, Scourge "left her for dead", ditching her and going off with the Suppression Squad. Dr. Kintobor rescued her and built her the Omega Care Unit to prevent the spread of her disease and even sought out a cure for her. She holds great resentment for Scourge, and she would go as far as to kill him if it meant exacting revenge.


This is a major role. Southern accent is required for this character. A voice likeness to the OG Voice Actress (Christine Cavanaugh) is preferred. Aside from that, have fun with this audition!

The complete total opposite of Sonic Prime's Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, Dr. Kintobor actually uses his intellect and machines to protect the people of his world from evil. A kind hearted man, he despises littering and invented the Sweepbot to clean up the messes left behind by the Suppression Squad. He is also a pacifist at times, only enabling Buns's Omega Care Unit to use nonlethal armaments when engaging with enemies.


A very minor role. Any slant of Eggman is welcomed, but I request that he must sound kinder and nonthreatening.
