[CLOSED] Samurai Zero: Phase 2 Character Auditions
Project Overview
Hey everyone, thank you for checking out our project. Samurai Zero is a 3rd person arena fighting game set in the beautiful science fantasy world of Edo inspired by the Japanese age of the Samurai. As we continue our production of the game, we are now looking for 3 VA's to join the team and be the voice of a samurai, as well as two spirit animals. For right now, we aren't going to post their exact names quite yet as they haven't been publically revealed but we will definitely give more background if we choose you as the VA.
We are aiming for high standard, so recording quality must reflect as such. This audition is only for a short little vocal part and not indicative of all the other lines a little later we would request from you, which we would pay for as well. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

"N" is a veteran Samurai of Japanese decent, and lifelong friend of "J" . While his skills and wisdom have few peers in this world, he is a kind and approachable man. Even though he was robbed of his sight when he was a child, he still has a good sense of humor, and longs to create a future where people can smile again.
"When you look at what is most precious to you, you won't look with your eyes." (Thoughtful, happy even)
"Show me what you can do." (Somewhat quick, but welcoming)
"Jaz, I...Just please be careful. I can't lose you...not again..." (Concerned, vulnerable)

"C"is the Guardian Spirit of Samurai "N", serving loyally at his side. An ancient entity of boundless wisdom, she has difficulty relating to the affairs of humans, no matter how grave. While she is largely aloof and barely emotive, as if her emotions themselves are in the clouds, she cannot help but stay invested in the human she has chosen as a companion.
“I shall descend for this occasion.” (Aloof, but not condescending)
“You are above your mistakes.” (Uplifting, gentle)
“I could not tell you why I have ended my isolation...perhaps it is the will of the world. Both worlds.” (Drifting off, deeply pondering her words)

Spirit Guardian - "Y"

"Y" is a Spirit as old as he is stubborn. He serves as Samurai "J" 's Guardian Spirit, and only her strong will is able to keep the irritable Spirit in check. While "Y" may seem to hold everyone in contempt, in truth he cares deeply for the future of the world, even if he's a bit grumpy about it.
"Hmph, I'll yield to your judgement...this time." (Curt, but not wanting to admit Samurai "J" has the right idea)
"I've traversed sand more threatening than you." (Condescending, disinterested)
"If you believe I'll just let you hurt her, then you're even dumber than you look." (Betrays his care for Samurai "J", and threatening the person with his full might)
