Project Overview

Hey there, friends! My name is Bea Olivia. I’m a voice actor and director. I’ve been wanting to make a visual novel for a while, so here we are! I’m looking forward to all of your amazing interpretations in the auditions!

Now, What is Saccharine about exactly?


Saccharine is a visual novel game following an aspiring fashion designer in her journey at the Meladona Academy of Fashion where six students compete for the last spot in the world's most renowned fashion label.Liberal Arts is the most valuable degree in the world and it's the most competitive field to secure a job. Artists must aim to be the best of the best, and for Evaline Tan - that's exactly what she thought she was. Until she met her competition.


What do we need from YOU?

  • We would prefer all cast members to be 15+ for safety reasons.

  • No generative AI is allowed whatsoever.

  • We would also prefer you give us another way of contact! Preferably discord or email.

  • Professional sounding mic, no background noise.

A word of advice from the team...

When you're recording, your mic quality isn't the only thing that matters. The way you deliver the lines mean a lot during an audition, sooo... here's a tiny guide!

To be able to deliver lines properly, it's better if you understand the character! if they have a personality description, you better read it... you should also pay attention to if they mispronounce anything! for example, if a character has a lisp or an accent, its usual that they'd pronounce some words differently.

Luckily for you bunch, we'll be providing short character summaries alongside their audition info!

    hey there, friends! just some advice here,

    Meliodas has a Scottish accent. if you audition with a scot accent, you're more likely to get the role. same with Soliel and her french accent!

Yes, Meliodas looks like your run-of-the-mill grunge emo boy, and with that, you'd think he acts all tough and angry, right? welp, you're wrong! He's soft spoken and shy, on occasion he can be loud, but it's rare. Unlike Evaliane, he's afraid to share his opinions, or to stand up to customers. you wouldn't believe how many robberies Druxy Clothing has been through...


Meliodas tends to stutter on big words, such as: Triceratops, Evaliane, Conformity, and many more like that! I know i said he's shy and soft spoken, but please don't over do it!

Although Evaliane looks like a simple and cute girl, her personality is almost the complete opposite! She's loud and proud about all of her opinions, and tends to throw a fit when somebody disagrees with her. To anybody who knows her, she's rather intimidating, but those who don't? well, they're considered very lucky to only see and innocent and cute beauty like her!

Evaliane tends to talk with her hands and exaggerate all of her movements, she's very cartoonish! She also can't pronounce the words: Cinnamon, Tarantula and Sea Anemone.

Hailey is your average trust fund baby, and she can't stay away from shopping sprees! if she has money, it'll be spent in a second. She's bratty and spoiled. don't cross her, because she'll get her hoard of online followers to doxx you... besides being an entitled brat, she's also one of Evaliane's close friends! She gets regular discounts, although she doesn't need them. Alongside acting spoiled and above others, she can be quite a flirt! She's definitely had her eye on Meliodas for a while... 


Hailey tends to drag her words, it's hard to describe. instead of "yeah", Hailey would say "nyeahh.." or somewhat. Valley girl accent!

He's loud and proud with EVERYTHING, and also Meliodas' self proclaimed 'bestie'... sure you are bud... he talks with his hands a lot, and is overall a very expressive person!

Bellamy is loud almost all of the time! he also has a stutter/stammer. please be sure to keep that in mind for your auditions.
