Without Harry : Season One | Chapter One - Audiobook
Project Overview
Without Harry, created by Filmmaker Samuel Watterson, is an unofficial project set in an alternate version of the wizarding world where the Order of the Phoenix defeated Voldemort before Harry Potter was ever born, sacrificing themselves in the process.
Originally envisioned as a television series, Samuel is currently developing Without Harry as an unofficial audio production to explore how the story, characters and world could work in a performed format. The hope is that the project can demonstrate its potential and, perhaps one day, be noticed by HBO, Warner Bros. or J.K. Rowling.
Years after Voldemort’s defeat, a new generation of Hogwarts students begins encountering a mysterious and powerful form of magic, forcing them to uncover a threat that could change the wizarding world once again.

Thomas moves carefully through the crowded corridor, glancing over his shoulder as if he’s certain someone is following him.
Katherine drops her books onto the table, takes one look at George’s innocent expression, and immediately knows he’s done something wrong.
Hermione sits alone by the window, pretending to read while quietly listening to the students whispering about her across the carriage.

Okay, before anyone gets angry, I would just like to point out that technically nothing has gone wrong yet.
Thomas, I’m your best friend, which means I’m coming with you. Unfortunately.
Kath, come on. You know that was at least a little bit impressive.

Both of you stop. Whatever happened last night clearly wasn’t normal, so maybe take this seriously for once.
Maple, I’m your sister. I’m supposed to worry about you, even when you make that incredibly difficult.
George, if your plan starts with “trust me,” I already don’t trust it.
Always up for a challenge.

I’m telling you, George, something happened in that carriage. I don’t remember what, but I know it happened.
You really expect me to just walk away after seeing that? Yeah, no. I’m finding out what’s going on.
Hermione, slow down. You’ve got enough books there to rebuild the entire library.
Generally trying to be good, but is hiding something.

I don’t know what’s happening to me. Sometimes I wake up somewhere and I can’t remember how I got there.
Bella, please. You have to believe me. I would never hurt anyone on purpose.
There’s something in my head... and every time I try to fight it, it gets stronger.

Jasper? You’ve been acting strange all day. Tell me what’s going on.
We used to tell each other everything. You don’t get to disappear for years and suddenly start keeping secrets.
Whatever happened out there, I know you saw something. I can see it on your face.

I know I’m a Third Year, but that doesn’t mean everyone has to treat me like I’m five.
Say something like that to Hermione again and you’ll have a much bigger problem than losing house points.
Kath, relax. I know how to fly a broom. Probably better than you, actually.
Yes, that Hermione Granger

I know what they say about me. I just don’t understand why it matters to them so much.
Actually, I read about something similar last night. There’s a book in the library that might explain it.
I’m fine, Thomas. Really. You don’t have to keep checking on me every five minutes.
She's a bully Third year.

I said I was sorry. I was trying to scare her, not actually hurt her.
Don’t look at me like that. You Gryffindors aren’t exactly perfect either.
Something made me do it. I know how ridiculous that sounds, but I swear it’s true.

Thomas, are you planning on helping me today or are you just going to stare out that window?
You’ve barely said anything all morning. That’s unusual, even for you.
Whatever you and George got yourselves into, keep me out of it. I’ve got enough problems.

Dumbledore has asked me to prepare you for something I sincerely hope none of you ever have to face.
Thomas, put your hand down. No, we are not fighting aliens.
Magic this old does not follow the rules you have learned in this school. That is precisely what makes it dangerous.

Wands down, books open, and if I hear another conversation, somebody is cleaning cauldrons tonight.
Hogwarts is a school. Every student in this room deserves to feel safe while they're here.
George, Thomas, whatever explanation you’re about to give me, I strongly suggest you make it believable.

There are some forms of magic, Thomas, that even the most experienced wizard would be wise to fear.
I believe something has entered Hogwarts, though I cannot yet tell you what—or why.
Courage is not the absence of fear. Sometimes, it is simply deciding that fear will not make the decision for you.

Now, Mooncalves are perfectly gentle creatures, provided nobody does anything extraordinarily foolish.
I'll only be gone for a moment. Surely nothing catastrophic can happen in a moment.
Ah. The gate is open. Yes... I was rather hoping that wouldn't happen again.

Easy now. Creatures don't normally attack for no reason. Usually they're more frightened of you than you are of them.
Hogwarts has plenty of strange things hiding around it. Best not go looking unless you're ready to find one.
There you go. See? Poor little thing just needed someone to calm it down.

Fifth Year carriage is full? Then find another one. I've got an entire train to worry about.
And don't “yo” me again, young man. I'm not one of your school friends.
Get yourselves aboard. This train is leaving whether you've found a seat or not.

You're seriously telling me we just run straight into that wall?
What if it doesn't work? I'm not spending my first day at Hogwarts in hospital.
Fine. You go first, and if you disappear, I'll know it worked.

Everyone else is doing it. It has to lead somewhere.
Alright, I'm going. But if I hit that wall, I'm blaming you.
See? Told you! Come on, the train's right there!

SORTING HAT: Hmm... interesting. Plenty of courage, certainly, but there is something else hiding underneath.
MAN IN PAINTING: Some of us have been hanging on this wall for two hundred years. The least you could do is keep the noise down.
DARKNESS: You can run from me, Jasper. You can fight me. But you cannot remove what I have already placed inside you.
