Hello Everyone, to give all of you wonderful voice actors here a chance to audition for our characters, I've pushed back the deadline for the current open auditions. Thank you all!
Reverse Falls - Gravity Falls based Visual Novel Game
Project Overview
Based on the popular Disney television show Gravity Falls, Reverse Falls is a visual novel that takes place in an alternate universe where the personalities and roles of the characters are converse to their original. The game follows Gideon Pines and Pacifica SouthEast, two residents of Gravity Falls, as they confront the many odd and supernatural creatures that live in or come to Gravity Falls.
This casting call is for the first episode of our visual novel, and as such, we will be planning to publish more casting calls in the future when we work on the next episodes. This visual novel will not be fully voiced. That is, only high-impact, important scenes will be voiced line by line. As such, a large majority of the voice work will be reaction noises, especially for minor roles (ie: "Hey", "Huh", "Well...").
Currently, many of the major roles have already been casted. This casting call is primarily for minor characters and extras that do not have voice actors yet.

New Characters Cycle including: Mabel Gleeful, Robbie, Wendy, Pacifica SouthEast,
Hello everyone! With the last cycle of characters ending, I'd like to introduce you all to the next characters that the team here at Giddy Fresh Studios. Mabel Gleeful and Pacifica SouthEast are both major characters in our game while the boyfriend/girlfriend duo of Robbie and Wendy both hold supporting roles. I am greatly excited to hear all of your auditions, and thank you for supporting our game! -
New Characters; Gideon Pines and Grenda
Hello everyone! It's Raethr from the Reverse Falls Visual Novel Team once again. Today, I'd like to introduce two new characters that can be auditioned for, Gideon and Grenda. Grenda is a minor character, and Gideon is our not-so-fearless protagonist. For these characters, the deadline has been pushed to September 24th. I'm excited to see all of your auditions. Priscilla SouthEast is the mother to Pacifica SouthEast, one of the two main characters to the game. A dedicated scientist, Priscilla dedicates a large majority of her time to researching the creatures of Gravity Falls. Her husband runs the "Obvious Shack", an alternate universe version of the Mystery Shack
(With endearment; Speaking to her husband in reference to her daughter) Now hun, let's not be judgmental. She's just trying to express herself.
(After a tender moment with her husband and daughter) Well, I better get going too. I'm giving a lecture on quantum-entanglement and the impossibility of time travel over at the community center.
(After hearing a piece of concerning local news; Spoken with a sense of gossip) Or it could've been done by their mother, the woman seemed simply dreadful. I do hope child services steps in.

sooS, the Reverse Falls Alternate Universe version of Gravity Fall's Soos, is written to be almost the same character as his Gravity Falls counterpart. In fact, he is essentially the exact same character, something that sooS is certainly unafraid to point out. sooS works at the SouthEast Family's Obvious Shack, and is not above making jokes about his displacement in the universe, sometimes breaking the game's fourth wall in the process.
Look toward's Alex Hirsch's portrayal of Soos for inspiration.
Somebody say my name, dude?
(With a sense of wonder) Oh dude, that was a dope find! Usually I only find tiny mummies or enterprising rodents, but this one was special!
I also packed some garlic cloves in case you run into a vampire. They always seem to show up when werewolves are around these days.

The Reverse Falls counterpart to Bill Cipher, Will is a powerful, magic-wielding dream demon. However, unlike Bill, Will is an optimistic, naive, and caring individual. Will is an easily manipulated character and is often taken advantage of by others.
Will should be portrayed with a timid and soft voice. Although he has powers similar to Bill, Will is more hesitant to use them and is averse to harming others.
(After being hit and being lightly injured by a truck) Ow.... Anyone get the number of that truck?
(As someone sidles up to him uncomfortably close) Bad touch! Bad touch!
(Cautiously and as a warning) No, seriously, I mean it. Do not touch me, that would be a very bad idea!

Sheriff Bubs

Bubs is the reliable and strong sheriff of Gravity Falls. Unlike his original iteration, the Bubs of Reverse Falls is collected and competent.
Bub's voice should be smooth and deep, with a strong sense of maturity.
(In a serious, reporting tone) It's terrible what happened to poor Scot over there, But we get kids making up all kinds of nonsense like this all the time as a way to excuse their misbehavior or try to garner their parents' attention.
Currently, we're working off the theory that these kids pulled a prank on poor Scot, and are trying to cover their tracks. I can't speak to the facts, but my gut tells me these kids come from a broken home.

An incredibly minor role, this character is the mother of two boys who have been attacked by a mysterious creature in the woods. Her voice should be shrill and defensive, almost nagging. A kind of "tiger-mom".

(With subdued rage) *Growl*

Weasel Guns
Gideon Gleeful is the young protagonist of the Reverse Falls Visual Novel. Small, shy, and easily frightened, Gideon's voice should be higher pitched and reflect his introverted nature. Both traditionally masculine and feminine voices are welcome to audition for this character.
(With reluctance and a small level of exhaustion) I guess I better go get this over with...
(With fear and a vaguely effeminate scream) Hey! I am not okay with that! Stranger danger! HELP!!!
(Here, add a variety of short phrases, such as "Hello", "Hmph", and "What?!". A large majority of the voice acting in the visual novel will be in the form of these short reaction phrase that will be prompted with text scrolling. Try to reveal the character's personality through these short phrases.)

Grenda is a girl made from rough, tough, hard-hitting stuff. With a bit of a sadistic streak, Grenda acts as a bodyguard/lackey for the renowned magician, Mabel Gleeful.
Similar to her Gravity Falls counterpart, Grenda should have a humorous voice, but with a grating and off-putting slant.
(Aggressively) What part of "beat it loser" don't you get!?
(Defending her actions; in response to another character's dialogue) And he tried to seduce me away from my boyfriend!

Wendy Valentino is Robbie Corduroy's strong-willed girlfriend. Carrying herself with an air of confidence and a gothic aesthetic, Wendy's personality both contrasts and overpowers Robbie's timid and clean-cut style. Her boyfriend is weak to her "feminine wiles", and she isn't afraid to use that to influence him and get what she wants.
(An aloof and cold greeting) 'Sup, loser.
(Attempting to be persuasive) Me and Tambs wanted to go shopping. You just got paid right? All I need is a Benjamin.
(Suggestively) Baby, you're focusing on the wrong part of that sentence... If I don't get a swim-suit, what could I possibly wear when we go swimming in your parents' pool?

Daphne Nitsuga
Confident, adventurous, and intensely optimistic, Pacifica NorthEast is the second protagonist of our visual novel. The heir to the Obvious Shack name, Pacifica holds her family's creed near and dear to her heart: Be yourself! She is convinced that there are parts of her world that are unexplained, undiscovered, or simply weird that are just waiting for her to find them. She is selfless altruistic, and is unafraid to drag her partner in crime, Gideon, into whatever adventures this altruism may lead them to.
Pacifica also owns a chicken that she has named "Clucks".
(Exasperated) Why can't you guys just admit that there might be something weird or unexplained out there?
(With excitement and a glimmer in her eyes) What if it's a real journal of unexplainable stuff!?
(Heroically jumping to action) Stop right there, fiend!

Robbie Corduroy

Robbie Corduroy is the Obvious Shack's loyal employee and cashier. He is inherently good-natured, and is charitable to others. Robbie has a strong moral compass, but his timidness often prevents him from acting out on it. This same timidness makes him easy to manipulate and influence, particularly by his girlfriend, Wendy Valentino.
Robbie is also quite the music enthusiast.
(Greeting with a familiarity and kindness) Hey Pacifica! What are you up to this morning?
(With concern and a light sense of fear) Uh, you're not talking about that weird stuff happening out in the woods, are you?
(Dazed and fantasizing about his girlfriend) Heh..... Swimsuit....

Daphne Nitsuga
Attractive, mean, and deceitful, Mabel Gleeful is the owner of a harsh temper and a violent desire to be the center of attention. With a powerful understanding and use of magic, Mabel is willing to use anything and anyone she can to get what she wants. Although she is the younger of the two Gleeful twins, she regularly picks on and teases her older brother, Dipper.
Oddly enough, Mabel seems to have a strange fixation on our young male protagonist, Gideon.
(With grandeur towards an adoring crowd) Thank you! Thank you!
We are not done setting up just yet, but it would mean the world to me if you all would come by to see the show once it's ready.
(Pointing out Gideon Pines from a crowd) Yes you, sweetie. You're coming to see the magic show, aren't you?
