  • (In a serious, reporting tone) It's terrible what happened to poor Scot over there, But we get kids making up all kinds of nonsense like this all the time as a way to excuse their misbehavior or try to garner their parents' attention.

  • Currently, we're working off the theory that these kids pulled a prank on poor Scot, and are trying to cover their tracks. I can't speak to the facts, but my gut tells me these kids come from a broken home.
