Project Overview
RE:IGNITE is an original anime genre series that is being developed from the ground up. While we have an incredibly talented group of voice actors, artists, musicians, and writers working on this, we really need more help in order to bring this vision to life!!
So What Is It About?
(Modern Greek Myth Seinen Series)
Long ago, there was a continent that was the jewel of the world, and a playground for the gods. It was a land of progress, where legends were born and where people carried the blood of the gods. Their Gift-- the magic in the blood was revered. However, as time passed the humans grew prideful and thought themselves better than the gods. In fact, they thought that they could control forces even the gods feared.
The land did not sink. It was completely torn apart.
The humans released forces of nature that the gods had imprisoned. These were titans-- beings of immeasurable power, whom had been imprisoned at great cost were now freed and sought to destroy everything. The land and its people fought back the invasion valiantly but were annihilated. Pain and misery spread throughout the rest of the world. Before they could erase the humans from existence, however, the gods met them in battle. Humanity would be saved in the battle for the fate of the world and the creatures were once again sealed. However, the gods performed the ultimate sacrifice: they were nearly all were wiped out.
Still there was hope, as their Gift was not lost. Those that remained knew that one day, their fallen would be born again…
However, their reincarnations would herald the end of the world.
So What Do We Need?
We need more voice actors, animators, artists, music composers and writers to join our team. That way, we can plan and design the series in an efficient, yet comfortable manner. Each set of people will be divided by departments, and meets once every week or biweekly. Writers would group to discuss the plot (both overall and character related) and collaborate on the scripts. Artists would help design characters and backgrounds as well as work on storyboarding. Music Composers will assist with creating the OST. Animators would help the artists and also work on the keyframes and inbetweens. Finally, Voice actors portray the characters once given their scripts using the visual cues given by storyboards and animation provided.
Since we are starting from the ground up, we will be properly paying our staff once we secure initial funding. We plan to do this by completing a pilot and then launching a kickstarter. For this reason, we won't be able to pay for the initial pilot but hope to pay for every episode after. For this reason, we hope to have a certain level of quality, that will help us secure those funds.

Voice Acting Requirements
Since this is an anime style series, many roles will involve a level of emoting, as well as shouting and other anime based voice acting tropes. We'll also need you to have minimal background noise and decent audio quality.

Discord is not required, but it is EXTREMELY recommended as we utilize it to organize group meetings, collaborate, and so much more. We hope that you'll be able to join the rest of the team here if you are cast!
Deadline
We hope to complete casting soon but because this is a long-term project, we will continuously be updating the project and adding roles! Though we'll have periods of lull and productivity (based what stage of production we're on), we hope you'll be with us for the long haul!

19 years old. Rival for the main character, he is an ex-military air user who was discharged for killing a fellow serviceman. Despite it being to protect his fellow soldiers, he was disgraced and forced to resign. Since then he has made his living by doing the work that no one else is willing to do—whether it means smuggling, spying, or killing. He has made a name for himself with his work under the table and seeks revenge on those who wronged him. Reincarnation of Zeus.
[Furious, quiet] Do you really think that I would help them after what they did to me?! Answer me!
[Tense] You better figure a way out of here, or we're all dead.
[Self Assured] Whatever it is, if you have the credit, I’ll aid and abet it. That’s my motto.
21 Years Old. One of the Main Characters. Rex is Alexandro's best friend and acts as his foil. Responsible, level headed, and quite cheerful he is known as one of the best Earth users from Atlas City. However, due to his family having come from a different continent, he is still treated like a second-class citizen, which has given him a large chip on his shoulder and a determination to prove himself.
(Casual) I’m gonna see what I can do to help then. (Sarcastic) Are you coming or do your battle scars need time to heal? (Laughter)
(Desperate and angry) This isn’t you Sakura, it can’t be! Why are you doing this? (Pleading) Please help me understand what’s going on, I can help you! (distraught) The more I chase after you, the further you slip away. I can’t stand it anymore. (Overwhelmed by tears) This is killing me. Please.
(Thoughtful) get ya man, I’m still trying to put it together in my head too. I mean who was that? I’ve never seen powers like his before- (Irritated) but would it kill ya to look at least a little concerned?! We’re lucky that nobody was seriously hurt.
20 Years Old. One of the Main Characters. A is a wild, fire using maverick who puts the honor above everything else. While very empathetic and loyal, he is also a hothead and in fact so quick to anger that he often throws himself into danger. Of course, he lives in the thrill of battle, though outside of it he often doubts himself and his place in the world. Up to the beginning of the story, he’s always had that structure, but once out of the military, he doesn’t even know who is anymore.
[Excited] Are you kidding me?! Hell yeah! I’m ready for a fight any time you like!
[dismissively] Who would want to worship a Titan? That's so stupid.
[Casually] I don't know, Man. I guess- I just understand it. Fighting has always come easy to me. I don't know why.
FOURTH LINE:[Serious, Tense] Those damn cultists…how the hell did they even get INTO Atlas city when everything’s locked down? Someone’s got to be helping them…there’s no two ways about it.
Haruki is the mother to Kairi and wife to Ethan. Her role is the bond between a daughter rejecting her place in the world and a husband keeping his past buried. She is a character than can be tender and caring, as well as fierce and determined.Though her love goes unnoticed by her daughter, she is the anchor for her husband, who wouldn't be who he was without her.
(Firm but also compassionate) Kairi, Your father and I only want to keep you safe. We love you more than anything on this Earth, you can’t keep pushing us out of your life!
(Soft, but also concerned and persuasive) I know you will keep us safe... but Kairi needs to know her father was worried for her, and not worried about who she was with!
(Comforting and reassuring ) It's okay, Kairi. It's okay. It's not your fault.
19 Years Old. A holder of the Gift that has never used her powers. She has always been quite passive and polite, while also being quite impulsive. When provoked she is also quite emotional, and easily given to the sway of her emotions. Up until the beginning, she was dreaming of becoming a writer, but due to circumstances beyond her control, she is dragged into the fray. Reincarnation of Aphrodite.
[Amazed] No way...that's amazing! Way to go guys! At this pace, we'll get the city cleaned up of monsters in no time flat!
[Emotionally drained] Please...just leave me alone... [Frustrated yell] I know! Leave me alone! [Tearfully] This was...all my fault.
[Serious, Fed Up] I’m tired, okay? I’m just…tired. I never asked for this life. I never asked for this responsibility. I just wanted to inspire people…not to be some tool for someone else’s plans! I don’t care if H needs me. I don’t care anymore—I quit. You can keep being his puppets if you want.
Mentor to the main characters. He is one of the surviving gods—a messenger/trickster god that narrowly managed to avoid certain death. Despite this, he is able to balance out his moments of seriousness with a naturally humorous personality.
[Excited] That's it! You got it! I knew you'd be able to do it! [Slightly amused] Well actually I thought you'd be crushed into fleshy paste but it's the thought that counts!
[Explaining, serious] A person’s power comes from their soul and the balance of that energy. You must keep yourself in balance…or you’ll die.
[Defeated, weakly] You've done well...but...it's not over yet. The joke's on you.
A young woman who lives in Atlas city. Though she not involved in the military, she is well known in Atlas city as one of the best users of the Gift. Is well known to be kind but suffers no fools and goes through any means to achieve her goals. Will be a romantic interest for one of the main leads.
(Similar voice to Kikyo from Inuyasha or Lucina from Fire Emblem would be Ideal but it can be slightly higher or lower. It should have an airy quality to it though.)
[Serious] Welcome back...I didnt expect you back in one piece.
[With compassion] You're hurt...let me help you.
[Frustrated] I had no choice! Do you think if I had a choice that I would have done this?!
The Debriefer for the main characters. A skilled but laid back military man tasked to make sure that soldiers return to civil life without issue. Those that cannot will be hunted and terminated by his hand. While extremely relaxed about everything, that is the one part he takes seriously.
[Casually] Hey, we dont judge here. If you need to smoke, we can get blazed together.
[Amused] Hey, any job is better than no job. No need to be embarrassed about it.
I like you guys... [Deadly serious] so don't cause me any trouble. Understand?
God of the Underworld. His survival came thanks to a lack of interest in the humans. However, since the death of Persephone, he has overseen the underworld alone, with a hardened heart and deep resentment of humans. He rules with an iron fist and has not seen the world above in five thousand years.
[Dismissively] You were a fool to have come here, and even more foolish to believe that I would help. [With Ire] Had it not been for their arrogance, the world would never have been in danger.
[Solemnly] I do not take for granted that my kingdom grows while the world above withers away. I would wish it were the other way had I any choice in the matter. [Bitterly] At least then, maybe she would still be alive.
[Amused] You think me an ally? [Serious] Just as there is no honor among thieves, there is no loyalty between us, mortal. I am your warden in the afterlife, whether or not you carry the spirit of my nephew. I do not owe you any pittance, so if you want anything from me, you'll have to give me something worth while..
35 years old. A gruff and rough ex-con that works at a tattoo, augmentation, and weapons shop. He has a massive obsidian piece embedded in his chest. Specializes in augmentation and is an extremely skilled user of the Gift. However, he has vowed to not draw an opponent's blood until he finds and kills the man that killed his family.
[Dismissively casual] Look, we can chop the whole arm off or you can let me work .
[Warning] Better watch how you speak to the Boss, he isnt as patient as he looks.
[Threat] You don't wanna mess with the guy that has a knife to your throat
Aged 15. The MC's younger brother. An excitable and talented user of the Gift, but always gets himself into trouble. Luckily, he is also an escape artist.
[Proud] You think that was cool? You aint seen nothin' yet!
Hey, escaping is an art! My art! Find your own thing!
[Admiring] Big bro! You gotta teach me to fight like you do!
25 years old. A woman in love with only two things: the ocean and a good time. Having previously been a skilled mercenary under Odysseus's command, she has since given this full-time gig to focus her dream of surfing the largest waves in the world. However, pay her well enough, and she's still game for a fight or two. Reincarnation of Poseidon.
(Has a lower-pitched voice around the range of Flavia from Fire Emblem but it can be slightly higher or lower.)
[Casually] What is it that they say? I'm here for a good time, not a long time.
[Teasingly] Looks like you guys can't even handle yourselves without me! Oh, alright, I'll lend you a hand...but it'll cost you. [Pause and Laughs] Hey, I've gotta fund my fun somehow!
[Irritated] You better watch yourself, or I might just turn your bones into toothpicks!
Goddess of Spring, after thousands of years, she has come into her own as a confident and competent goddess. She won't be getting many lines. This is a glorified extra.
Ares! Go Find Ares! Give Ares This Message!
I've tried my hardest to live my life in despite of what the fates had written for me.
(Battle Cry)
Loud, boisterous and very prideful of his work. Though he has thick skin about his appearance, he's still liable to snap at someone if they insult him. He has a minor role at the beginning but has a larger role to play much later on.

Ruler of the Universe, Zeus fights the Titans, prepared to risk all for the glory of the gods and protection of the human race. This character will be minor for the moment but will become more important later.
[Battle Cry] For Olympus!
