Haruki is the mother to Kairi and  wife to Ethan. Her role is the bond between a daughter rejecting her place in the world and a husband keeping his past buried. She is a character than can be tender and caring, as well as fierce and determined.Though her love goes unnoticed by her daughter, she is the anchor for her husband, who wouldn't be who he was without her.

  • (Firm but also compassionate) Kairi, Your father and I only want to keep you safe. We love you more than anything on this Earth, you can’t keep pushing us out of your life!


  • (Soft, but also concerned and persuasive) I know you will keep us safe... but Kairi needs to know her father was worried for her, and not worried about who she was with!

  • (Comforting and reassuring ) It's okay, Kairi. It's okay. It's not your fault.

Really incredible motherly tone! I love the little bit of creakiness in your voice. It really sells the age of your character. The "it's not your fault"s at the end especially were convincing.
