What is this?
Project: Eden's Garden is a nonprofit free-to-play Danganronpa fangame.
Unlike other fan projects, Project: Eden's Garden will contain a completely new story, with different characters, story elements, and some new gameplay features. Iconic Danganronpa topics, such as Monokuma, Hope's Peak Academy, and Junko Enoshima will be absent. In their place, a completely new world has been built for the story of this killing game.
Requirements
You must be 16 years of age or older, along with being able to show extreme and versatile emotions. This is an unpaid position. However, the people developing the fangame are professionals in their field that have a passion for Danganronpa. While we don’t expect Triple-A voice acting, we do expect a similar quality of passionate individuals. A high-quality mic with no background noise/clipping is preferable. You can apply vocal effects to your voice if that is something you typically do. Since the demands are split between generalized and specific voice lines that come at a chapter-by-chapter release, it would be beneficial if you could stick around for multiple releases.
Character Notes
Each character* will be given notes on nationality, demeanor, range, and specifics on how their voice should sound. While we invite you to give your best shot at whatever you are most comfortable in, we are more inclined to bring you on to the team if your voice acting meets the requirements of the character. The staff has the final say on who is given the job.
*Excluding Mara, whose VA auditions will be held at a later date.
Role Significance
We follow the credence of the Director of the Danganronpa games: each character should feel like a whole story could be written around them. The writers have worked hard to develop each character and make them feel unique and fun. However, the only character we can outright say at the moment that has significance is Damon being the playable protagonist. Just know that each character has their time in the spotlight, and your voice will be iconic as a result!
Confidentiality
Trust is of the utmost importance to us. As this project is incredibly near and dear to our hearts, we want to make sure whoever we sign on is not only the best at what they do, but will also keep all spoiler-centric details under lock and key. Our team is united in our love for the story we want to tell, so we are looking for voice actors who can share our passion and who will respect the hard work of their teammates. By casting you, we are trusting you as a future member of the team. Thank you for understanding.
Applying
Step 1: To submit an audition, you will need to create a CastingCallClub account.
Step 2: Find the character you would like to audition for and select "Submit Audition". This will load a popup.
Step 3: Select "Browse audition files" and upload your audition.
Step 4: In the notes section underneath, please include:
- Your age.
- The name you prefer to go by.
- The social media handle/s you would like to be contacted via.
- What equipment you are using to audition (mic, interface, effects, etc.).
- Any additional notes you want to include (other examples of work, reasons for auditioning, etc.).
Out of respect for your privacy, this information will not be made public. Only the team will be able to view and listen to submissions.

Personality:
Damon sees his words as weapons, using them like bullets to shoot through his opponent's arguments. Like a true master of wordplay, Damon finds himself wandering down a path of pure logic. Instead of letting his emotions control him, he chooses the opposite. He'll tell you that his judgement is based on logic alone, separate from anyone else’s personal perspective.
Voice Description:
Medium-high male vocal range. Exude confidence and arrogance. Slight higher pitch when tapping into emotional exclamations.

Personality:
In a killing game, you need to be able to trust those around you. But with the Ultimate Liar, is trust even possible? Eva has made it clear that she doesn't intend to lie to anyone, but how can we believe any promise she makes? Truly a quiet and mysterious figure, she often stares into the distance and makes you feel like anything you say to her is being completely ignored, as if she is lost in her own world of thought.
Voice Description:
Medium female vocal range. Calm and articulate pronunciation of speech, but with a soft-sounding tone.

Personality:
If there’s a target, then Desmond can hit it. Doesn’t matter how fast or how far, as the Ultimate Marksman, Desmond can land his shots using any ranged weapon of his choice. Desmond cares deeply about his friends and is always willing to support them. He sees the power of the word as a way to communicate, not fight, and only in dire situations will he shoot his verbal preciseness.
Voice Description:
Medium male vocal range. Somewhat younger sounding, relaxed but can be playful/confident.
"Hm… I’m Desmond Hall. They call me the Ultimate Marksman." (Mildly amused)
"That’s right. I have a really good eye for my targets. Guns, bows, slingshots, you name it. I’ve hit bullseyes with it." (Nonchalant)
"Jesus, do you have everyone under your thumb!?" (Shocked)
Personality:
A reclusive young man, Mark prefers to express himself through his music. He takes the best sounds of the musicians he works with, mixes them, and creates a fresh new track that inevitably takes the world by storm. But outside his talent, it’s a different story: Mark follows the crowd and rarely shares his own thoughts. For Mark, there’s no point trying to feign confidence; he’d rather just be back home and making music.
Voice Description:
Medium-high male vocal range. Extremely soft-spoken, with a slight questioning tone to his voice, as if he is always unsure of what the right answer is supposed to be.

Personality:
With a need for speed and excitement, Jett is a brave and adventurous guy whose charming personality has captured the hearts of many. Despite withholding his physical appearance from the public, Jett still has a dedicated audience that supports him wherever he travels. Like all hotheads, the flame needs to keep burning, even if that means constant competition with his fellow friends and acquaintances. At the end of the day, he tries his best… even if he doesn’t always succeed.
Voice Description:
Lower male vocal range. High-energy, almost yelling every sentence with enthusiasm.
"Harumph! The name’s Jett Dawson, Ultimate Drag Racer. Nice to meet ya, shrimp!" (Mildly annoyed)

Personality:
As brave as the roaring seas and as tall as mythic giants, Jean DeLamer is a well-known figure on the vast oceans. Teeming with charisma, his love for the sea and all things in it creates light in even the darkest rooms. Although his formidable appearance can be intimidating to some, he is a loving and protective individual. A captain needs to love his crew, and Jean’s love for his crew knows no bounds.
Voice Description:
Deep male vocal range. Slight gravel to his voice, and a confident tone when conveying information to people. Can turn very serious.
"I’m the king of the seas, hero of the storms… I am Jean DeLamer!" (Hearty)

Personality:
Kai Monteago finds himself around discourse wherever he goes. Rumors of his online escapades run rampant; he's a troublemaker who enjoys dissonance, a charming master manipulator, a maniacal tyrant with an army of pawns. Ask anyone about Kai, and they'll tell you the same thing: all he cares about is amassing a large following. "His passion is almost scary, throwing fans and friends under the bus to suit his own needs whenever he deems it necessary."
Voice Description:
Medium male vocal range. A mix between frat bro and surfer dude.
" …Maybe you’ve heard my name before. Does Kai Monteago ring a bell?" (Anxious)
"Dictator”? Sheesh! You naysayer types are always so overdramatic." (Annoyed)

Personality:
Ulysses is constantly tired and always on the brink of collapse from sleep deprivation. It's the price he must pay for his unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and it's one he's come to accept. Although he’s fairly intelligent, Ulysses will do whatever it takes to learn new things (even if it isn’t useful at that moment). Despite his hectic schedule, he always finds time to record his interactions in his trusty notebook.
Voice Description:
Medium-high male vocal range. Slow, sometimes slurred speech, due to sleep deprivation. Very particular with the pronunciation of words.
"*Yawn* My name is Ulysses Wilhelm, and I’m the Ultimate Historian. Please make note of that for future reference." (Tired)
"Huh? Yes, we already know both weapons were at the scene of the crime." (Mildly confused)
"W...Well, I don’t know for sure, but... " (Scared)
Personality:
Lawful, confident, and well mannered; Wolfgang is what a proper defense lawyer should look like. Friendly yet cunning, Wolfgang can defend anyone despite their possible guilt. His sense of justice is almost as strong as the amount of cases he’s won, which is currently at a winning record of 200+. He’s overly calm and sophisticated, but humble enough to not feel intimidating to converse with. Wolfgang hopes that his work will inspire others to walk a righteous path such as his.
Voice Description:
Accepting adult VAs only. Medium-high male vocal range. Usually soft-spoken, but can speak with a sassy/confident flare.

Personality:
Loud-mouthed and mischievous, Cassidy lives by her own ideas. She’s a thrill-seeker, constantly taking herself out of her comfort zone and trying new things. While she’s inherently short-sighted and doesn’t look into her actions' consequences, she’s still a good friend. Always pushing herself and those around her to become better, Cassidy encourages people to follow her lead, believing that everything in the world would be peaceful if we listened to her advice and cooperated under her direction.
Voice Description:
Medium-low female vocal range. Very blunt and abrasive.

Personality:
Diana is a shining example of how to be a supportive friend: kind, extroverted, and always wearing a smile. Before working as a personal stylist for some of the biggest names in the media, Diana was just a simple girl trying to make it through high school. Being friends with the most popular group in her school had its advantages, and gave this happy-go-lucky artist the opportunity she needed to show off her talents, and pursue her goal of helping everyone discover the best version of themselves.
Voice Description:
High female vocal range. Very enthusiastic and playful with her speech.
"I’m Diana Venicia, your local cosmetologist. If you're ever in need of a makeover, I'll work my magic 一 just ask!" (Friendly)
"There’s nothing wrong with a bit of optimism from time to time! Let’s just try it, okay?" (Encouraging)

Personality:
While advancing towards her opponents is common practice in fencing, Eloise prefers to lay low and blend in with the crowd during social encounters, and is always ready to make her escape if anyone gets too close to her. She’s a nervous wreck with good intentions, but just because she frequently stutters doesn’t mean she can’t pack a punch - being incredibly deadly once a weapon is in her hand.
Voice Description:
High-medium female vocal range. Slight shakiness in voice. Mostly soft-spoken, but loud/shrieking when startled/scared.
"E...Eloise Taulner. I’m the Ultimate Fencer. I-It really is nice to meet you all. Even if it doesn’t seem like it...." (Shy)
"Um… what does that weapon have to do with anything?" (Confused)
"S-So stop trying to turn us against each other! P-Please…" (Anxious)
Personality:
Even though she’s young, Toshiko carries herself with an elegance most adults lack. An impressive wordsmith, her witty and charming nature can break down others’ walls. Couple this with a keen eye for body language, and you have someone who navigates people incredibly well... if she so chooses. Outside the realm of matchmaking, don't be caught off guard if Toshiko throws the occasional shade in your direction.
Voice Description:
High female vocal range. Childlike-sounding voice.
"*Ahem* I am Toshiko Kayura, the Ultimate Matchmaker. Nice to meet you, I suppose." (Slightly uppity)

Personality:
As one of the youngest billionaires in the country, Wenona redefines what it means to be a ruthless business woman. Her tribe rules over the agriculture sector, owning most of the farmland in the USA.
Rarely does the public get to see this elusive CEO. When they do, they quickly realize how intense and determined she can be, only willing to discuss potential profits and projections for her operations in the upcoming financial quarter.
Voice Description:
Medium female vocal range. Pretty casual without sounding uncultured. Can turn very smug (we should be able to hear the smug grin in her voice!).
"That would be my name, yes. But, you can call me the “Ultimate Entrepreneur”." (Pleased)
"What can I say? You can't keep a good woman down." (Smug)
"You’ve got to be kidding me. Running a business that feeds millions is pointless?" (Irked)
Personality:
A gentle giant with an equally big heart, Ingrid is as motherly as one can get. She's always ready to shield those she cares about, but don’t think she won’t be stern if you do the wrong thing.
Just as Ingrid is strong, she is creative. She loves making weapons; they're extensions of herself, continuations of her own being. You won't find any machinery where this blacksmith works; Ingrid's doing it like they did a hundred years ago!
Voice Description:
High female voice range. Southern accent. Able to switch from soft, caring tone to a more stern tone.
"My name is Ingrid Grimwall, and I am the Ultimate Blacksmith!" (Chipper)

Personality:
Grace Madison could be summarized with one word: scary. Everything she does and says typically comes off as aggressive and vile. Her compassion is replaced by a burning expectation to win. This competitiveness is what makes her who she is. Anything she starts will end with her being victorious, no matter the situation. Grace doesn’t understand the concept of restraint; she'll tear her opponents to shreds both verbally and physically.
Voice Description:
Accepting adult VAs only. Medium-high female vocal range. Neutral tone is slightly aggressive.
For the brave: during moments of extreme anger, you can try to emulate an Australian accent.

Personality:
The self-declared host of the Killing game, Headmaster Tozu proclaims that he will bring salvation and redemption to all of the students attending Eden's Garden Academy. Despite his volatile demeanor, Tozu demonstrates surprising restraint when orchestrating the procedures of the Killing Game, almost as if his twisted rules have both structure and reason behind them.
Voice Description:
Medium-low male vocal range. British accent, preferably authentic. Neutral tone is enthusiastic and eager. Don't be afraid to get intimidating.
