Project Overview
... Quite literally so because this Game never featured voice acting. Well, until now.
## DEADLINE EXTENDED TO THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER. ##Hello and welcome to dubbing one of my all-time favorite games! Thanks for checking this out!
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon is a spinoff Pokémon Game, developed by ChunSoft in 2004 which features – in my opinion – one of the best and most gripping Stories about friendship in Gaming History, combined with a stupidly addictive gameplay formula, nowadays known as dungeon crawling.
And of course, it was a huge hit back then and became an absolute classic title ever since.
The Goal of this Project is to dub the full game. And when I say that, I mean the FULL Game.
That means I need atleast 60 Voices total across this entire thing.
And that is exactly, why you are here right now! :)
The sheer size of this Project will help me finetune my direction skills with bigger projects, while also giving tribute to one of the best games ever made.
I am of course an avid Enjoyer of shitposting, but this Dub is going to be legit. Well, aiming too anyway.
The Story has some very serious, emotional parts and I want to do them justice.
There is a time and a place for silly Jokes – and trust me, there are a few of those in here.
This Project will be done in parts, each around an Hour long, which will be uploaded to YouTube afterwards.
For reference, the first part has 6500 Words.
With all that in mind let us fly by the rules real quick, so we’re all on the same page here:
- The recording Quality of your Audio can be unedited of course, but should include minimal natural reverb and white noise.
- Outtakes and Adlibs are fun and should be kept – but if you do keep them, please add them to the end of the Audition.
- If there are no directions, I either find the context to be self explanatory, or I want you to improvise.
- Would be nice if you were to record in AAA-BBB-CCC format, so I can get a feel for how versatile you are! (But its not a necessity.)
- Due to the length of this project, I marked every role with a small disclaimer regarding its importance. Please be aware that every major and Important character will appear multiple times throughout the runtime of this Project, which will probably be 5-6 Parts in the span of around half a year-ish.
- I am more than happy to give feedback to everyone as I did with every other Project thus far, but to make things easier for everyone, please just specifiy in the Audition, that you want feedback :)!
- I don’t pay you for this Project, therefore I can’t enforce any deadlines. What I can do is ask you to please respect the time and effort of everyone involved, when you get picked!

Extended the Deadline to the 5th of November!
Hey all! :)
I decided the extend the deadline up to the 5th of November because while I am very grateful for all the Interest for the Main Roles, the side gigs barely seen any action. But the sideroles are just as important as the mainroles, because only everything together will truly shine. So don't be a stranger, and hit me with those auditions! In the next two weeks I will do the casting, write all the Feedback and finish the script (which is absurdly long and I need to juggle moving prep at the same time here). Until that stuff is through, the Project will remain open, in case I find that one or more roles are not yet filled adequately. ^^
