Since Whiscash is supposed to be Poke Gandalf the grey, (while Alakazam would be the white lol) Because he is some sort of a mentor character, thats not really a fitting voice. Consider that the Voice is only one Thing. The acting is the other. So also think about mannerisms and kind of Things old people do while talking. They usually are kinda chill and slow (unless specified otherwise) and tend to consider their sentences.
So, like before, situational awareness. :) Always try to think about the character and then go all out. Treat Auditions like they are the real thing already. That will help your Mindset too! :D
