Pixie and Brutus: Gnome Sweet Gnome is a recent graphic novel short story, following the war veteran dog, Brutus, and his little companion, the innocent, adorable kitten, Pixie. When their garden gnome disappears, they go on a comical (and often sarcastic) misadventure with their neighborhood friends to rescue their inanimate friend from the clutches of a crazy obsessed squirrel.
This comic dub will be recorded and put up on YouTube. We are looking for voice actors to play the roles of many of these characters. We will be paying based chiefly on how significant each character's role is in the story. This is a zero-budget project (besides hiring voice actors). Still, we are willing to pay for good-quality voice acting for this comic dub because Pixie and Brutus deserve some amazingly dynamic voice actors.
In your audition:
- Recite the lines given
- Slate (introduce yourself if you want)
- Provide your email or another way to contact you (Discord or Instagram works)
Please have a decent sound to your recording. No echo, static, or background noise. Avoid peaks and pops in your recording. Feel free to deliver each line multiple times in different ways (this will dramatically increase your chances of getting the desired role.) You may also audition for more than one character in the comic dub.
