Piece of Cake! Webtoon Fandub

Project Overview

I have received the creator's permission to create a non-profit fandub of this Webtoon.

Official Description: "A story about Lee Seong Mi, a typical girl with big sweet dreams of becoming a great baker.With nothing but her pain from losing her mother at an early age,she discovers that baking is the key to her future. A future that will cross path with Nam Young Jin, a boy with a passion to bake, an aspiring businessman and the son of a popular baker in town."

The video editing for the prologue has already been complete. My goal is to release a video monthly. Please be committed to the project if you are auditioning for a lead or supporting role.

Casting Guidelines:
1. Please have decent mic quality (USB or XLR) with no background noise (if you know how to do basic noise removal, please do so)

The prologue and chapters 1-4 have been released. The next video will be coming out Nov. 11. I have re-opened the casting call to find a voice for Nana!

  • Casting Update

    The casting call is now closed. I will be going through auditions within the next few days and making my decisions. Thank you to everyone who has auditioned!

  • Feedback Complete and Short Extension

    Thank you all for your interest in my project. If you requested feedback and did not see a comment from me, please let me know. I have cast the role of the mother to get a start on the prologue. Since I won't be needing anyone else until Ch.1, I have extended the deadline to Friday for the rest of the roles. This extension is mostly to give people an opportunity to reaudition based on the feedback and give me more time to go through the auditions again. I have already started to shortlist. That said, I would love to hear more auditions (especially for the extras)!

Seong Mi's Father starts off very strict and overprotective. He lost his wife to an accident and keeps his daughter from going out for her safety. After he realizes how miserable she is from being trapped at home, he has a change of heart and lets her have more freedom. Looking for a fatherly voice that can be both strict and gentle. 

Range: Any, but not too high.

  • The station!? Don't you know how that place is prone to accidents!? So, no. It's a no. I'm busy. Bye. (Alarmed, then dismissive, strict)

  • Is that so? How are you feeling now? I'll cook some porridge to make you feel better. (Concerned)
