About Katarina Mahan

Hiya,

My name is Katarina Mahan. If you're reading this then you're probably curious to know more about me.

Well, I was born male in 1987 and for the longest time wanted to be an actress. I suppose more specifically a voice actress. It's been a very difficult journey, but I've managed to make it this far. I've been told by some people that they love my voice! That's always a confident booster!

Anyway, I've only seriously pursued acting for a year or two now. I've taken many workshops hosted by FUNimation actors and am honored to have Barry Yandell not only as my mentor, but also a great friend.

So far I've mostly only done short films, I'm still trying to figure out the technical side of voice acting. One of my short films won FIRST place in a film festival even!

    Katarina played Miss Cassandria in my latest audio drama, "Little Orphan". And she was great. Her character was a miserable and lost headmistress, and she did a fantastic job. She of course, was fun to work with as well.
