PERSEUS (Student Short Film)
Project Overview
Perseus is a Student Short Film concept being made for my Lighting Class final. We are focusing on film lighting so the story is short but I would like to utilize voice acting and voice-over. The characters all wear a mask or hoods so their faces are not seen, making it easier to use Voice Acting to get the feel I want for this film.
Synopsis: Planet Hellas 6999 A.D. Based on Greek Mythology: When Perseus arrives at the three Witches looking for Medusa, their reactions are as expected. The conversation that ensues on Planet Hellas is sure to decide Perseus' and the Witches' fates.
Also looking for a Film Composer who is able to meet the feel I am going for. A mix between musician Lorn and Blade Runner 2049 Soundtrack. You will make a full-length song for the 3-4 minute film that can create the certain tone I want.

Slayer of Monsters. Perseus has to slay Medusa. You are a serious, and typical main character. Your face is hidden behind a helmet. You are feared across the Galaxy

How does one defeat the Kraken?
Then I will take her head.
Sister Witch, ratty dimwitted voice. Scratchy and high-pitched.
Enough, tell us!
That's impossible! You lie, lie, lie.
Give us the Eye!
Commanding, and Outspoken. Waster of Cities is just that. The Witch that wields power great enough to destroy her enemies. The voice is dark, demeaning, and horrifying. You wouldn't know this Witch to be a woman if you heard them.
You seek the eye.
We three see what you must see.
We have not that power... Spare her.
Dreadful, exhausted, and trapped. Whichever voice portrays this faceless Witch does not exhibit man or woman.
We can never be free.
The eye!
What more do you need?
Compose the Soundtrack to the Film. Approx 3-4 minutes long. We will discuss exactly wat the Director wants and you will most likely use inspiration from previous works.
