Project Overview

Heyo! I'm looking to cast more characters for my Minecraft Machinima based on My Hero Academia! The series follows an entirely original cast of characters and is primarily set in San Francisco (rather than Japan), although parts of Episode 5 take place in Marseille, France.

I'm looking to hire voice actors for the series, you do not need to have Minecraft for this project! [the series is completely machinima, there's no improv bits]  

These roles are in english and french, as this episode is centered around a villain from France, and we get to learn his backstory! 

Please be at least 16 years old, and have a good quality microphone setup to apply! [the 16 years old part isn't a hard cut-off, if you're 14-15 but amazing at voice acting and have a good setup that's cool too!]

IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFO -

I'm putting $10 or $25 for each character as an arbitrary amount, the payment amount will depend on the amount of lines the character has per episode [I pay around $1 per line!] - at the end of the series the total payment amount will come out to be higher than $25 (likely $50-75 per role) except for minor roles that are only in episode 5.

Mr. Osoi is a humanoid sloth, and is part of the leaderless villain group, the Coalition of Five. He appears to be in his late 50s, although Mr. Osoi is actually only 28, the aging is a side-effect of his quirk. He’s quite a character and is easily entertained, and is far more child-like and humorous than his aged appearance would suggest - however, Mr. Osoi's quirk is incredibly powerful (it allows him to manipulate the rate of change [movement speeds] of people/objects in small radius) and he is serious when he needs to be.

  • What an entertaining fight! Maru, think either of them would make for a worthy successor?

Compass is another member of the leaderless villainous group, the Coalition of Five. He believes himself to be incredibly strong and intelligent, and tends to patronize those around him. I encourage trying out voice modifiers to give his voice a slight echo or mechanic tinge, if done right I think this could add a lot to the character, however it's not a requirement. Compass’ quirk allows him to create and manipulate magnetic poles in humans, in order to magnetize and demagnetize himself and others.

  • That’s our cue! We may or may not have framed you for a few crimes… don’t worry though, the sentence should only be about... 20 years each!

Maru is an indian-american woman in her early twenties, who turned towards villainy after a traumatic event in her youth related to her quirk. She is highly intelligent, powerful and rather kind (considering the fact that she works with villains), and detests killing, which is ironic because her quirk, Necrokinetic Absorption makers her stronger with each dead body she absorbs. Maru increases her power by working as a private investigator to scout out crime scenes, and absorb corpses before the police arrives. 


  • I’d... rather we avoided that… You’d think a guy whose name is Compass would have his morals straight, you know?

Loggin' is the brute force of the Coalition of Five. He's not particularly intelligent, but is he is very passionate and devoted to his work. Loggin’s quirk Wood’n Construct, allows him to manifest wood-based powers by eating large amounts of wood as fuel, and use this fuel to  grow temporary wooden fixtures on his body, such as wooden cannons, spikes and blades.

Aria is a girl in her late teens who is seen as the “rookie” among the Coalition of Five, as she just started committing crimes recently. She commits acts of villainy out of boredom rather than conviction, and is a pretty easy going person. Aria's quirk, Air Filtration, allows her to absorb air through pores in her arms, and then unleash it as powerful wind-based attacks. Aria’s quirk also allows her to absorb specific air-particles only - such as oxygen for instance, in order to suffocate her foes, however, this is only effective indoors.

  • Closest relationship? You met ONCE! I bet he doesn’t even remember who you are!

Julie Raye is a well-known criminal in the Marseille area, who the villain Anonyme encountered in his youth. She is confident, devious and somewhat manipulative towards Anonyme, however, she lets him believe he's making his own choices, when really she's the one pulling the strings.

[FR] - Julie Raye est une criminelle connue à Marseille que le vilain Anonyme rencontre dans sa jeunesse. Elle est confiante, sournoise et manipule Anonyme, cependant, elle le laisse croire qu'il fait ces prropres choix, alors qu'en réalité, c'est elle qui tire les ficelles.

Hector Lavue is the father of the villain Anonyme, and is important to Anonyme's backstory. Hector believes Anonyme's quirk to be cursed and demonic, and treated his son like a monster throughout his childhood.
