Maru is an indian-american woman in her early twenties, who turned towards villainy after a traumatic event in her youth related to her quirk. She is highly intelligent, powerful and rather kind (considering the fact that she works with villains), and detests killing, which is ironic because her quirk, Necrokinetic Absorption makers her stronger with each dead body she absorbs. Maru increases her power by working as a private investigator to scout out crime scenes, and absorb corpses before the police arrives.
